## What is FairEats?

Don’t miss a single bite with this personalized route planner for the MN State Fair! The app calculates the optimal route based on all the delicious food and beverages that you choose. Simply select your favorite food vendors or use the search bar to find what you are looking for. Click Find Foods to see the best route displayed on an easy-to-follow map.

At the fair and craving cheese curds? Enable location tracking to see the number of steps to the nearest booth. Click on it and the map will guide you straight there.

Want to plan your route ahead of time? Select a gate of entry. Once you arrive, enable GPS to view your progress on the map.

Easy to use in one hand so that you can have a corn dog in the other.

Get the most out of your day at the MN State Fair! The app is up-to-date with 2026 information. Search "2026" to see all the new foods. 

Helpful Tip: Looking for gluten free options? Type “gluten free” into the search bar.

For full functionality, enable location tracking. The app uses GPS to calculate the optimal route from your current location, show step count to each vendor, and display your location on the map. GPS will only run when app is in use. The app does not collect any personal data.

I love this app prep it every year before the fair as a food checklist. However i have more than 50 places to go and it limits you to 50.

Where has this app been my whole life?! Kidding…but seriously, this app makes it so much easier to plan the food and drink routes at the state fair. I love that it gives a detailed list of all the new food/drink items at each location and then maps out the best route to hit all the ones on your list. The only thing that would make it better is if after each location was check-marked they can be put into a segregated list of their own and you can check mark which items from each place you had been interested in. No matter what though, I am so grateful for this and want to high-five the creators! Nice work.

If it would guide to the food source or even show a map. But it just tells what food is there.  And mostly you can tell that in the name.

This is a really cool app, but it could use a few improvements. It would be awesome if it included a list of all the places you have on your list (and not just the main list) and if it allowed you to have more than 25 items on your list. Also, when you search for a stall/booth, the button to cancel is right where the button to clear all of the items off of your list, so it would be great if you moved that, because I’ve accidentally cleared my list twice now 🥴

This is the closest to the old state fair app which I miss so much. Similarly it maps out your favorite destinations. It only has food though and is limited to 25 places. Which is sort of useless. But better than nothing. The app put out my the official state fair allows you to star favorites but has a generic map. And you have to go into each place to see it on the map. Someone should step up and make something better.

I downloaded this so according to the star and Tribune newspaper I can find fair food around the town in Minnesota all this does is give me a map of the fair which is closed what junk

This easy to use app allows you to search for foods, read a description, and maps directions. Pretty nice.  The downside is It is missing photos of the food and prices.  Seems like these would have been easy to add. I’d hate to walk to a destination only to find it doesn’t appear appetizing or the price point doesn’t match my interest in the item offered.
