Subs, Sorted.? You know the parent who waits by the car after the game to ask why their kid barely played. FairPlay helps you make sure that conversation never happens. It works out fair minutes for every child before kick-off, then tracks them live. FairPlay is a substitution manager for volunteer junior football coaches. It plans who plays how long, tells you who to bring on and take off at each sub, and gives you a tidy report to share with parents at full-time. What you get: - Fair minutes worked out before kick-off, so you walk onto the pitch knowing every kid gets a fair go, not doing sums in your head. - One-tap substitutions during the game. The app highlights who comes off and who goes on, so a sub is a couple of taps instead of a guess. - A running match clock, the score, and the bench all on one screen, so you run the whole game from your phone instead of a clipboard and a stopwatch. - Fairness that evens out across the whole season, not just one match, because spare minutes go to the kids who have had the least. - Automatic goalkeeper rotation, including the half-time swap, with time in goal counting toward each kid's fair share. - A match report you can share in one tap, so parents see their child's minutes without you retyping a thing. Who it is for: Volunteer coaches, most of them parents, running a squad of 8 to 14 kids with no coaching background and no time to spare. If you have been managing subs on paper, in the Notes app, or in your head, this is built for you. How it works: 1. Add your squad once, or paste the whole list in at once. 2. Before kick-off, mark who is available and pick your keepers. FairPlay shows you a fair-minutes plan for the match. 3. During the game, follow the sub prompts. At full-time, share the report. No account, no login, no signal needed. FairPlay works at any ground, and your season stays on your phone. Open it, load the sample team to see how it runs, then set up your own in a few minutes. Pricing: FairPlay includes four free match days. After those, your squad, roster and match history stay available at no cost, and running a live match needs one of the following: - FairPlay Annual: an auto-renewing subscription, billed once a year. - FairPlay Lifetime: a one-off purchase, not a subscription. Pricing is set separately for each App Store region, so what you pay depends on the country or region of your Apple Account rather than a conversion from another currency. The exact amount is shown on the App Store product page and again on the purchase screen in the app before you confirm anything. In Australia, the Annual subscription is AUD $7.99 per year and the Lifetime purchase is AUD $39.99. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A new team setting for little-league formats where every player is outfield. Match prep skips the keeper step, and the summary and shared text leave keepers out. Season setup sheet. A printable worksheet you and your parents can fill in together before round one: the squad, the competition's rules, the keeper rotation, how the subs will run, and what families can expect. At the top of Team, Competition. It downloads in the language you use the app in. Matches save themselves. A finished match goes into your history the moment it ends, so nothing is lost if you get pulled away before tapping Save. Discard properly undoes it. Open any past match in full. The complete summary, including the goalkeepers card and the playing-time chart, is now reachable from any saved match, not only the one you have just finished. A badge for every team. A team with no logo shows a monogram of its initials on the club colour instead of a grey placeholder. ### 2.55.1 — 2026-07-27 Cup games are now handled end to end: play extra time and run a full penalty shootout without leaving the app. New - Extra time and penalty shootouts. When a match is level at full-time, play extra time, then run a shootout with a coin toss, a kicking order you set, and a kick-by-kick log. Fair minutes keep tracking through extra time. - Four free match days to try. You now get the whole app straight away and four free live matches. After that, a subscription only if you want to keep starting new matches. Everything else stays free. - Keep certain players apart. Flag pairs who should not be on the pitch at the same time, and the app keeps them separated when it can. - Playing Time Weighting. Nudge one player's minutes up or down (to ease someone back from injury, or give a debutant a lighter game), and the app rebalances the rest of the squad to keep things fair. - Substitutions left. The sub panel now shows how many interchanges you have left at each swap, and you can add the extra subs a cup match allows. - Fruit roster, sorted. Whoever has brought fruit the fewest times comes up next, with a full editor to change the order or skip a family. - Extras in Settings, Widgets. A standalone penalty shootout and a coin-flip tool, plus a fixture reminder you can share to the parent chat from any upcoming match.
