Useless if you’re already in the store.

I was so excited when I received an email from Fairway about the delivery app....only to realize that because they are beholden to Instacart they only deliver to a small subset of ZIP codes. I live in a densely populated part of NYC, every other online grocery player (FreshDirect, AmazonNow, Peapod, UberEats) delivers here... why won’t Instacart deliver?

They showed up w/o any of the key products (all the heavier drink products that I need delivery for and don’t want to carry)—delivery guy said they were out of stock.  They replaced two of the small items they did deliver (replacements were OK).  But I got no texts/emails about the replacements or about the items that were out of stock.  They just showed up w/the reduced and altered order.  I rejected delivery and now have to monitor credit card to assure they don’t charge me.

They need to communicate about out of stock or replacement orders.

Deleting this app.
