It’s annoying. I shouldn’t have to submit a daily review. You have to push a button to move through this prompt every time. If You Keep The Transfer/Purchase Fee’s Capped Under .50 Cents Per Each Buy/Sell/Transfer Transaction You Can Increase Revenue While Bringing In Many New Patrons, A Lot Of Whom Would Be A Younger Demographic, That You Could Then Offer A Credit Card / Home Or Auto Loan to. Run Local Targeted Ads And Under No Circumstances Do You Raise The .50 Cent Fee regardless Of Transaction Amount. That Will Bring In A Loyal Customer Base As Fairwinds Will Have The Best Prices And Incentivize Them To Tell Friends And Family Bringing In Even More Members. The App Needs To Be A 1 Stop Shop For Everything Banking Related And Crypto Related. To Make Things Simple Only Offer The Top 10 Cryptocurrencies. Offering Monero Day-1 Is An Absolute Must As It Is A Highly Secure And Very Private Currency That Is Deeply Loved And Valued In The Community. Bitcoin And Ethereum Should Be There Day-1 As Well. Its overall execution feels stuck years behind current standards. The interface looks dated with clunky layouts, inconsistent fonts, and is unprofessional looking and tiring to look at. Modern banking apps favor clean minimal designs with good spacing and clear hierarchy. FAIRWINDS instead packs dense outdated elements that ignore today’s iOS design expectations, such as liquid glass, if nothing else. Performance makes things worse. The app feels slow and laggy even on my iPhone 17 Pro. Loading accounts or transactions takes too long. Navigation stutters and refreshes drag. Everyday tasks become annoying when users expect quick reliable access in 2026. The user experience puts promotions first in my experience. Ads and reward offers clutter the main screen and require extra taps to dismiss. Navigation choices like pushing Zelle ahead of regular transfers disrupt normal flows. Simple actions such as viewing account details need more steps than they should due to poor organization. High average ratings hide these repeated complaints about the outdated look, sluggish speed, and promotional push. The app works for occasional use but frustrates regular banking. FAIRWINDS needs a full UI refresh, better optimization, and removal of intrusive ads to meet expectations set by better financial apps. Right now it falls short of the credit unions other services. I understand I am being critical, but a good mobile app is crucial to a positive brand image. I LOVE the institution itself, while I feel the mobile app falls short of the positive experiences i’ve had with FAIRWINDS. The layout is like working with DOS. I don’t find it user friendly at all. I heard about it from Dave Ramsey, who has been my financial guru and inspiration for 30 years. My husband balked thinking it was too much work for a bit of interest. It is somewhat more complicated because I have all my savings in Fairwinds but he continues to deal with our local bank, FOR NOW... Transferring and keeping track is a little harder, but I'm so down with it! I wouldn't change a thing. I'm so pleased to be able to earn a little bit of interest on my accounts that I have set aside for budgeting purposes. Custome service is kind and helpful when you call in with thousands of questions, which I did! No worries at all! Everyone that I have spoken to is happy to help and makes everything 100% clear.
