It has not been fixed. Every time I go to new scene, the inventory bar disappears. Opening tasks restores it - sometimes. But not always. One is at the ice skate rink, the other is at a first aid box at the peninsula. I was able to skip the first one with a gem, but now it appears the game ends for me at the second broken puzzle. Bummer. Even on easy mode this does not work on a phone. I can’t physically see where I’ve got to go with my finger guiding it and in the way! Impossible so I gave up and deleted the game.
