The 365 devotionals, the split screens with detailed commentary, the different Bible versions, the consistency and incredible app experience. Nothing but absolutely great to say. I just wish it was available as a MacBook version. Thanks for a consistently great app :)

### 5/5 — Faith life bible

*2024-11-01, version 37.0.2*

The faith life study bible app is a great tool for devotions, sermon preparation, reading and studying Gods word. I’ve been using the faith life system w/logos and I have no regrets. However, the note system needs updating.
Thank you Olive Tree

### 2/5 — What happened to this app?

*2024-10-10, version 36.0.1*

We own the full Logos Bible software. We use the iPad apps (Faithlife Study Bible, Logos Bible) for study and group studies when at church and other homes, nearly daily.

The past several years the apps have had serious issues. Some Faithlife has addressed, like attribution info copied to Notes when a digital book’s passage has been copied and pasted. Some have not, like the formatting keyboard has remained tiny, nearly illegible and lacking most of the options in floating mode and in docked mode.

With this latest update the text options are even fewer. The text size can only be adjusted to larger and never even returned to smaller if you made a mistake.

There’s probably even more issues, but I haven’t had time to look into what else is wrong. I have a lesson to prepare for tonight and I will have to transfer to my laptop and hope that it will be useable on my tablet when I arrive.

Please consider, Logos, contacting me for questions about these issues. I’m tired of submitting questions and issues to the wiki. Only one has been dealt with in 12 years.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Cost

*2026-04-09, version 49.0.1*

I had been looking for a good Bible study companion and I found this app which I started to like. I was searching for some information and then received a message I had used the maximum amount of queries and I would have to get a subscription to continue, so I deleted the app. Charging people for something like this may discourage people from building their relationship with God, so zero stars.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work anymore

*2023-10-21, version 28.0.4*

I use to love this app. But recently you have to type in the scripture ur looking for instead of being able to just click on the book the chapter & the verse. When I link it, it doesn’t stay linked. It’s just too frustrating to use anymore. It’s really unfortunate bc I loved this app.

### 1/5 — No support.

*2023-09-22, version 28.0.1*

I accidentally closed the study notes side of my screen and can’t get it back. I tried emailing the developer from within the app with no response. I tried from the app page and can only chat with a bot who keeps saying they don’t understand my question. Sadly, I have to change to another app.

### 1/5 — Everybody wants an account

*2023-08-08, version 27.0.1*

Uninstalled immediately because it requires an account. I have too many accounts.

### 1/5 — Latest revision

*2023-01-07, version 10.1.1*

Don’t care for the latest revision. Cannot see the end of the range being read because the field is too short. Can’t scroll back to text read in prior days Definitely NOT. An improvement. Also, the new ‘feature’ that brings up the copy/highlight menu is a real distraction to reading—pops up while navigating.

### 1/5 — App collects All “Feedback”

*2021-11-11, version 9.9.0*

In the app Settings, there is an item called “Send Feedback”. It gives three options: (1) All, (2) Anonymous, and (3) None. However, if you choose, None, then exit Settings, then tap Sync your data (also in app Settings), then go back into Settings to check, you will find that Send Feedback has reset itself to All. Hoping this deceptive bug gets squashed soon!

### 1/5 — Shambolic.!!!

*2021-11-10, version 9.8.2*

1. UI needs a lot of work, so difficult to select text to highlight as the borders move with the screen.
Also the UI needs a lot of work, hard to tell what verse you on as the verses are ingrained within the passages rather than aligned, feels more like reading an e-book on kindle.

2. It’s more so a shop than a study app, you don’t have a variety of commentaries, Bible versions etc except you fork out some money. Whereas there are ‘actual study apps’ that offer these for free @ no cost.

3. The literature is somewhat not very accurate & it even tries to 2nd guess the actuality what the text is saying, an instance where it says either Jesus was a stone mason or carpenter, yet the Bible is clear that Jesus worked with Joseph as a carpenter.

4. I would definitely not advise anybody to make this your ‘go to’ place to truly study & understand the Word, have other options & always compare facts from fables.

5. Should give more settings to re-arrange verses, colour code them etc for easy navigation & to find.

### 1/5 — Very Irritating.

*2021-04-05, version 9.3.0*

This app, this bible study app is difficult to navigate... trying to find the books is irritating, not listed as with most bible apps! So, when you do finally find them you get these abbreviation layouts, okay, whatever. Was looking for a simple format for words, verses, etc. what you do get is a semi-complex app that leaves you more confused than EVER! I’m NOT a novice.

Have deleted it, will NOT recommend this app to anyone! True rating is NO STARS!

### 1/5 — Crash

*2018-10-30, version 8.0.0*

New Logos 8 version crashes every time with current version of IOS on both iPhone and iPad.

### 1/5 — Complicated to even begin to use

*2018-07-14, version 6.4.1*

Like finding your way around a maze, will probably delete and try something different

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — A Gem of an app

*2026-05-19, version 50.0.3*

Such a really great Bible study app. I’m really gonna miss it when it gets replaced. Much easier for me to understand versus the logos app that is replacing it. an example would be Hosea ch. 6. This app clearly states, “6:1 -7:16 This passage emphasizes Israel’s sin and injustice, especially its failure to truly repent, acknowledge its guilt, and seek Yahweh for help.” The new logos app is more extensive, but the point is lost on me. I think I need a Bible study app for “dummies”. I’m sad to see this app go. And I’m not sure what I’m going to do now.☹️
