### 2/5 — Why must give a church affiliation?

*2021-04-26, version 4.11.2*

I’m getting a LOT of notifications, but can’t find anywhere to read them OR turn off notifications. It seems I used to be able to use this app. I know I liked FAITHLIFE, but can’t get anything on it recently. What’s the deal?

### 2/5 — Pastor

*2021-02-09, version 4.11.1*

Frustrated. Multiple site confusion even after following your directions to delete/remove one.

### 2/5 — I want this to work better

*2018-12-15, version 4.1.1*

This app leaves a lot to be desired. What’s up with notifications? There are no alerts when messages are received. There isn’t even a “badge alert”. Push notifications would seem like one of the first things to get right. I love Faithlife and their whole eco system. This app is an essential part of that system. Let’s get this right guys.

### 1/5 — Safari with a Few Links

*2015-11-09, version 1.4.6*

This "app" operates like a Safari window with three links at the top (and a back button) and a prayer list keeper that is not connected to the prayer list you may keep in Logos. While this may be useful, it results largely in continuity issues and a stressful user experience. The FaithLife social network is a fantastic concept that is executed well online, but this "app" does not give an easy and user friendly experience.

### 1/5 — Needs work

*2015-01-24, version 1.3.1*

Within the first 10 minutes, the app has crashed 5 times. Searching for groups and individuals does not seem to work, profile setup seems to crash the app. Needs a lot of work. Potential is there for something great, let's just get it there please.

### 2/5 — interesting but needs work

*2014-05-12, version 1.1.0*

I was excited about this app as a way to coordinate and connect with my youth group. I still think it has interesting potential, but the app has too many bugs. It needs the calendar and prayer requests features from the web. WiThout those it is not very useful.

On my iPhone I tried to type out a message two or three times, but the buttons are too close together so that it took me away from the typing area to another part of the app. When I went back, my text was gone. This happened four times. Very frustrating.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Hard to use

*2022-12-26, version 4.13.9*

Unless I check in often and look in every group, I miss a lot of stuff. I thought I asked for emails of posts and announcements but apparently not.

### 1/5 — AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!

*2022-12-10, version 4.13.9*

Extremely frustrating and unhelpful. I am giving up on this

### 1/5 — Useless app

*2021-11-10, version 4.13.1*

Useless App: I receive numerous email notifications (example: A new bulletin is now available in ...). When I clic to view the “new Bulletin”there is nothing new to view. All I see is a continuation of the same “stuff”. Nothing new! It’s really sad because this could be a really great tool for our church to be able to provide information to users. I may not be a Tech Genius but I am one that is far more Tech Savy than others my age.

### 1/5 — The CCM of social media apps

*2021-08-31, version 4.12.3*

There is a certain special touch we Christians have for taking something that works well and never needed to be "Christian" and saying "great, now let's make the veggietales version". This app is that but for social media, but with a lot of secret lewd accounts

### 1/5 — Unsubscribe?

*2021-01-18, version 4.11*

Nothing is more annoying than getting tons of emails and then you cannot unsubscribe. This outfit has obviously intentionally made it almost impossible to reset your profile settings said, “once you enter, you can never leave, Boohaha...! “. I cannot tolerate that

### 1/5 — Find your church

*2020-07-09, version 4.9.1*

Happened to click the option and now “my church” I just happened to look at is listed as my church and asks me to claim that group - and - I can’t get it off my settings. (It’s not my group or ministry yet is listed in my settings and won’t let me delete it.)
The giving option is confusing. Is this for receiving money or for giving?
PS, Make inviting people a copy/paste of emails. It won’t let me copy someone’s email and insert into the invite, invites has to have each manually typed.

### 1/5 — Review

*2020-03-21, version 4.7.3*

Not user friendly!

### 1/5 — The app does not work as intended

*2020-01-05, version 4.7*

The app does not work for reading plans or for community sharing as advertised.

I’ve contacted support through email, phone, & chat and still no resolution over the last 3 weeks (& poor response times).

### 1/5 — Wrong church

*2019-08-04, version 4.5.2*

Hello,
I just downloaded the Faithlife app looking to get connected with a group. Not sure how I can do that. Besides that, I accidentally put in the wrong church and I cannot delete it. Please help and explain what this app is even for. Thank you.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2018-12-25, version 4.2.0*

Everything seems to be broken. Don’t even bother with this app until it’s updated.

### 5/5 — Great Faith Based App

*2022-07-21, version 4.13.8*

If anyone has used a group communication before you know that sometimes things end up in it that eventually cause it to seem more like a general chat versus the original reason it was designed for. What I like about the Faithlife app is that the focus is always evident, it is for communication, edification and updates regarding a church or ministry and for people to pray with each other for one another with some encouragement in various areas of life whenever it’s necessary. It allows you to easily identify yourself as a servant, member or leader. It also allows you to identify your congregation Church logo and or affiliation. If people take the time to actually fill out their profile it can be a very useful tool on top of that there are financial tools built-in for giving so if anybody wants to set up some type of one time payment for their tithe, offerings or first fruits that can also be done. For what it was designed to do and for the purposes that it is serving I believe it does it quite well. If you give the application access to your camera and microphone it can also allow you to direct message one another and even make calls, with an added extension I believe some video functionality is either in the works or has already been implemented as well.

### 5/5 — My cup overflows with the Holy Spirit

*2022-01-30, version 4.13.5*

Faithlife has really helped me understand God Word! Learning about The Father, The son and The Holy Spirit has never been so intriguing!
It’s engaged my heart, my soul and mind to learn more about God’s love and mysteries!
Now I can truly say I’ve really read the Bible!
The Kingdom of God is the Alfa and the Omega! Shalom!

### 5/5 — Wonderful resource

*2020-05-28, version 4.8.1*

Easy to use and full of resources

### 5/5 — Best app for Christians

*2020-02-23, version 4.7.3*

This app I leave a good review because

- you can follow churches

### 5/5 — Thanks Faithlife

### 5/5 — Much better than previous versions

*2019-07-31, version 4.5.2*

The previous versions had a lot of bugs but it seems like they have been fixed in this update. The app now makes it much easier to keep track of what is going on in all our church groups, chat and retrieve files.

### 4/5 — A Good Work in Progress

*2020-04-23, version 4.8.1*

The Faithlife app is a work in progress - a good work in progress. It’s a bit clunky at times and not as intuitive as I’d like but it’s improving with every update. I appreciate the ability to connect with my church group using the mobile app. I receive notifications and can respond quickly. I can even edit newsletters, although that feature on the phone app is not ideal. One thing to be aware of: if you turn your phone sideways you lose your place and whatever you were doing. It defaults back to the main screen. This can be very frustrating if you’re in the middle of a post or editing a newsletter. But Faithlife is very responsive to suggestions and they work tirelessly to improve their products. I don’t mind being part of the beta program. I get to contribute to the functionality and features. The company is wonderful! Every staff member I’ve worked with is genuinely nice and wants to help us use Faithlife for our purposes and God’s Kingdom. They’ve been a great help to many churches during the pandemic as well. I highly recommend Faithlife!

### 4/5 — Much Better

*2019-07-03, version 4.5.2*

Faithlife Groups is a fantastic way for churches to stay connected from Sunday to Sunday, and now (finally) the app allows easy use of the features. It’s not perfect though, notifications for group messaging are still lacking. I gave five stars anyway just because of the attention they’ve given to fixing many of the issues that drove many of our members away from participating in Faithlife. 4 stars because I can’t access events via the calendar.

### 3/5 — Good but..,,

*2021-10-27, version 4.13.1*

The is app OK and helps with communication but the notification options are terrible.

### 2/5 — Too security sensitive

*2021-08-18, version 4.12.2*

This app is just ok, it is far too sensitive. I tried uploading my background picture a few time because it was not showing the picture I chose, and then I was flagged for spamming! What? Then I couldn’t post anything pending my appeal, i believe? So not too thrilled with the app. They need to fix glitches so the app user isn’t trying to do something over and over because it wouldn’t work.
