## What is Falco?

Falco - the simple dash cam
A minimal interface which requires minimal interaction to keep you focused on the road. Just open the app and start driving!

See something you want to save? Just press the big red button on the screen or on your Apple Watch and a recording of the last minute (or minutes*) gets stored on your phone, including trip information like speed, location and time.

If you get involved in an accident, Falco detects it (by detecting increased G-Forces on your phone) and can automatically store a video for you.

To keep the video storage size small, Falco does not record sound, only video.
This also means you can listen to your favorite music on your device while using the app!

For your privacy, your location-information never leaves the app.
The recorded videos are meant for insurance purposes.
In case of an incident, let the other party know you recorded it.
Please do not make your videos public without the consent of everyone visible in the video.

The app does exactly what it claims. It is a great straight forward tool for recording through the windshield. I like that it doesn't use the audio as I stream music when I drive.

I will probably do the upgrade even though the features aren't important to me. I think app alone warrants 'rewarding' the programmer.

One wish I would like to see is to record using the iPhone slow motion capability. Anything happening at highway speeds would be better viewed at a slower playback - especially an accident.

This is a nice dash cam app. It's much easier to use and more user friendly than most other dash cam apps available for iOS. My biggest complaint is that it crashes constantly, and the video is choppy and doesn't always record the entire segment that should have been saved. Lots of potential though...looking forward to an update.

Thank you for all your hard work! I tried almost all the available car dash cam apps out there and I can confidentially say this is the best one.  Super simple to use, does exactly what it needs too.

Also this app is well supported, I emailed the developer with a question and he responded right away.

This app is a perfect dash cam for anyone who still wants to listen to music through their phone. It doesn't record sound but that would interfere with your music. 

Super simple to use, just open the app and you're good to go. If anything happens that you want to save, just press the big save button and you're set. 

Another benefit of having the dash cam app is it makes me play with my phone less while driving, keeping the roads safer.
