Clunky tool operations, non-intuitive positioning of windows, an MPR that does not accommodate for measurements to be saved on a particular MPR plane, propensity to crash during huge manual imports. A good viewer, but requires extensive manual oversight of studies and cases and is unforgiving in terms of trying to pull a diagnosis. Usable? Yes. Accessible? Yes, especially for academics. Ideal? Not really, but better than nothing; particularly, better than Horos (clunky study management) and arguably better than OsiriX. **Developer response:** Thank you for the detailed feedback. Had no luck trying to send studies via their DICOM listener using any of the DCM4CHE products or the DCMTK products. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Moved to Horos when Osiris became cost prohibitive, now Horos has done the same thing except the cost is more reasonable however, the interface is slightly less intuitive. After a bit of snooping around it actually is quite a nice program so I am revising my initial review. Appreciate the responsiveness of the developer to my questions! **Developer response:** The app fully supports multiplanar reformats and 3D views, as many users do this daily without issue. It is not as intuitively designed as the predecessor, however it does also have some significant upgraded advantages. Would be great if the user manual was prominently displayed or downloaded as a separate file with the program. ### 2/5 — Excellent Potential *2025-09-29* This app has excellent potential. I am an oral radiologist (yes it’s a specialty) and the workflow is very specific. For now, a lot of features that I require are not quite there but the developer has been very responsive. I am hoping that the developer will fully support an oral radiology workflow. As a Mac user I constantly get questions from other radiologists as to which program I use. One day I would like to recommend this one. One annoyance is that every time I open the app to test a feature it asks me to sign in again. Moved to Horos when Osiris became cost prohibitive, now Horos has done the same thing except the cost is more reasonable however the functionality is AWFUL. I can see the dicom files but no longer reformat my own saggitals or coronals or 3D views - unless it is just not obvious how to do so like it was in Horos. We’d be happy to assist. ### 5/5 — There is a problem on MacBook M1 Pro *2025-07-03* Falcon MD works excellent on iPhone, but there is a problem with performance on MacBook Pro M1. It works much more slower compared to iPhone version, especially when you’re scrolling in 2D viewer (3D viewer works better by the way). For me personally It’s very important, because it affects my productivity. Horos and OsiriX seem to be a better solution for Apple laptops so far.
