I have tried to cancel my subscription as I no longer need it, however I can’t get anybody to talk to and there is nothing on the website or app to cancel. **Developer response:** Hi tacomaman. Initially there were a lot of bugs to work out, it then worked well for a few months. Now everytime I try to log out or record an expense I get an error message which will not allow me to do anything. I have deleted the app and redownloaded getting the same message. Also the mileage tracker was shorting my trip on average 3 miles each trip compared to another gps. **Developer response:** Hi tacomaman. It’s sufficient for that, though I don’t know what purpose the ‘billable’ feature serves as it doesn’t carry over to the CSV report. Creating and emailing a report is very easy and user friendly. The CSV report itself is what I’m not happy with. All of the data is in a text format which makes data manipulation, sorting and calculations, impossible unless the information is reformatted. Every month I tell myself I’m going to find a different app to use but just don’t get around to it. **Developer response:** Hi TakenOne. Thank you for your feedback. However, I no longer need this type of app, so I tried to cancel my subscription. I requested several times to cancel my subscription, and they still charged my credit card. I tried to contact them via email and via the app about a month ago and have had no response! Thank you for using Falcon Expenses. ### 1/5 — Switch and Bate *2018-09-20, version 1.24.3* This application should clearly state that it costs $6 per month after you enter a certain number of expenses.... ### 5/5 — My team loves this app for expense reporting *2018-07-14* Easy to use, efficient, works for all of the expense types that I need to collect: miles, receipts, etc. There are many mileage tracking options, if I forget to log my miles before a trip all that I have to do is enter the start and end address to calculate my miles. My entire team loves it and we all use it. I wrote Falcon in April, May & again right now to cancel my subscription. I used the email address that Falcon instructs users to use to discontinue their accounts. They have ignored my correspondence & continue to charge me. Can’t get any response whatsoever from them. DONT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO!! **Developer response:** Hi 1st on iTunes. Thank you for using Falcon Expenses. ### 1/5 — Frustrated *2018-04-19* For an App that costs 5.99 they have so much work to do. I’d written to them a couple of years ago when I first started using it that there should be a sort option so I don’t have to sort my receipts prior to scanning. There is now a sort option but only in the expenses view and when you submit those sorted expenses to a report it doesn’t respect the sort when you click on add to report. What is the point of me using an app if I have to do work prior by putting them all in chronological order. An app should allow me to scan all receipts and you should sort based on date, type or category. You’re making the assumption that everyone is scanning as they get their receipt. **Developer response:** Hi Kittysandsoxies. Thank you for the feedback, it is always appreciated. Currently, the expenses within reports are default sorted by date created, which might not necessarily be the date that you added / saved the expense / receipt to Falcon. However, you can always sort very quickly within the excel spreadsheet export on your desktop. App that makes sense, EASY, nice design and layout , no filler buttons, and I gotta say I love the color and logo. I don’t know how there are so many five star reviews on it. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — I can’t get support to respond *2024-05-14, version 2.0.4* I downloaded the free version and have been very happy with the app. I want to upgrade to the premium version, but I fill out the form, provide my CC and nothing happens. I’ve tried to reach support and no response. Frustrated! ### 1/5 — 😡 *2023-03-24, version 2.0.4* This was a really good app for the last few years. Late last year when i went to do my twx reports I couldn’t log into my account, got some weird error code. Multiple tries were made to log on thru the app and the website. I was unable to get any of my tax records/receipts and reports. Worst of all, my credit card has been being charged the monthly fee !!! ### 1/5 — Extremely Disappointed *2022-12-04* Have had this app for 4 years. Started having issues with it saying I had used up my free uses. I have a paid subscription so no free uses. Support would tell me log out and log back in to fix. That worked for a while but then started getting “Json could not serialize”. Tried logging out like I’m always told to do, will not let me log out, just kept getting this message. I reached out asking support to fix it or cancel my subscription. I get a reply to my email that my subscription was cancelled. Very disappointed, I have recommended this to many on my Team and this is their support. I do t recommend tbis app at all. Drove 80 miles and only recorded 5 miles running in the background. Not sure if running in the background is the issue or conflict with other apps like Uber/Lyft ### 1/5 — Not Happy *2022-06-17* Customer Service will not respond to ANY of my emails, I cannot reset my password because I never get the link, I cannot cancel my subscription because it says I don’t have one, but my bank statements and email receipts show that they are taking their payments. I can’t get ahold of anyone. And half the time my app doesn’t work. I would like to cancel my subscription and cut to thousands of dollars I now have lost because the app will not register any of my information… **Developer response:** Hi we regularly review our support emails. I couldn’t reset my password so I figured I’d try to email for help. Lo and behold I got customer service within the hour (and after hours nonetheless!) and I’m back up and running. I love how easy it is to use and how I can categorize everything by job type and tag each expense however I want with custom tags for job numbers and categories for expense types. It is really convenient that is has three ways to enter mileage expenses. I really like using the GPS tracker and the feature where I can enter my start and end address has come in handy a few times. Whenever I have to bill clients I log my hours, all from the same app. Also, it works as a handy receipt keeper so that my wallet is not stuffed all the time and I’m not longer losing receipts as they are all right here in Falcon. It has saved me thousands of dollars. 💰💰💰 I’ve been using this app for quite a while to keep track of my small business expenses and it’s perfect for everything from scanning receipts to logging miles.
