Daughter was a good thing to have but every time when I go away or out of the house I go back to my cameras and it’s telling me it’s off-line. I run 5 of them throughout my house. 1 crapped out on me after about a year. I replaced it with the same model. Set up isn’t that hard. Make sure your WiFi is in range. Hold the tiny button down by the SD slot for 15 seconds. Scan the QR code with your phone on the app, input your WiFi info it will make a bunch of beeps and tweets, then it’s connected. They worked great for less than a week. All of a sudden we lost power for a couple hours and once everything came back up the cameras will not connect. Shows off line and we have rest and and had someone check the WiFi which is working. Really need cameras that will work. I hope I can get someone to give me an idea of what to try next. ### 4/5 — Faleemi pleasant surprise *2020-10-03, version 1.3.31* First let me say how pleasant I am with the Faleemi camera I purchased. After reading a harsh review I was hesitant on the purchase. After owning the first one for a year I quickly realized the harsh review I read was made out of haste and inexperience. First of all you have to be aware of what you are buying and the application in which it will be used. Don’t buy a WIFI camera for 30 dollars and expect it to perform like a monitored security camera that is designed for a totally different application than the world of Wireless WIFI cameras. That being said I was pleasantly surprised of the quality 1080P with night vision looked! Truly a wonderful bargain for the price with the resolution brilliant and the night vision flawless. affordable , and literally had the same features the more expensive top of the line units have. I purchased it to help keep an eye on my teenagers and my most cherished dogs which turns out it exceeded my expectations. I managed multiple popular home secuity company’s so I knew what I was getting before I ordered it. My advice if your interested is learn the difference between a security camera and a stand alone wireless WIFI camera. Once you choose the application you are tasking them to do you will make the choice suited for its intended purpose. Remember, this isn’t a monitored system which is the reason for the affordability definitely not lacking quality engineering. All of the features are A+ with the exception of the two way touch and talk speaker being on the quiet side but still achieves its purpose by letting me correct my sweet dogs when misbehaving from my office. If you are looking for a reliable, inexpensive camera to help you keep an eye on things this is perfect. With a top notch customer service team to help or answer any questions you may have. If you are wanting a life saving device with monitored protection this is NOT the route I would recommend. 4.75 out of 5 stars! ### 1/5 — Bad. Just found it tonight, tried to reconnect it, which was never an issue, and now it won’t find our wifi no matter how many times I try to log in. I’ve tried to add it as a new camera (I don’t want to uninstall it outright as we have a lot stored through this one, but I don’t know what to do now. This free cam app for Faleemi cams is great. I have 5 fsc881 cams, and could not be more pleased. With the Faleemi app., I am able to view all 5 cams live on my pc. 4 on tablet or phone (You chose which 4). On pc, you could view up to 36 cams if you had them. Also, the pan function, on Faleemi cams that have this function, is as simple as putting your cursor on the direction arrow and “left click” and hold until you get your desired view. Let us not forget Faleemi’s very helpful customer support. They have been very proactive. My experience has been great. They have solved all of my challenges. I have not yet found another that has worked as well as Faleemi. One company actually never returned a cam that I had sent for repairs. That was over 2years ago. Give Faleemi a try. ### 5/5 — Great for monitoring *2019-08-17* Thought it had motion detector oh well really really easy to set up and for the price to check in on whatever subject you have in mind. works as needed hope they offer one with motion will buy works great on iPad also not bad for the price ### 5/5 — To Catch a Thief vs Cost & Reliability *2019-04-19* Not big on doing reviews but only weeks after installing 2 of the 720p cameras and app, my front entry cam caught someone breaking into my car at 2am..and bc I utilized the microSD card auto recording option, I was able to pull up the feed, take screen shots and provide time stamped print outs for police. Long story short, while the pics weren’t exactly crystal clear it still captured both the person and their car good enough to allow the police to locate them that very SAME DAY. So, for an app built to operate and maintain a $80 remote camera system, it does the job GREAT!!! Slight delay on some features when viewing from remote locations but better and more reliable than I expected to get when initially setting it up. ### 5/5 — Works enough *2019-03-28, version 1.3.29* To the last reviewer — please research what IP camera means. IP camera means Internet Protocol Camera, meaning you need internet connection for this camera to work. ### 5/5 — Just bought my second camera *2018-10-02* These little cameras are really great. My first one is in the front hall and gives me a view of all three entrances to the house. The second one I put in the basement, allowing me to check up on the furnace, the hot water heater, and any potential leaks from the kitchen above. The second camera went in a year after the first. Connection to the WiFi system and Faleemi app already on my phone was extremely easy. Just followed the directions. For $80 I now have an excellent monitoring system for key areas of my home. Since I travel a lot, this brings me great peace of mind. I also spent $40 more for a high capacity memory card for the upstairs camera and thus have recorded video of any activity tripped by the motion sensor. The motion sensor email alerts worked well as well! I was curious to find out how well the system could reset / reinitiate itself to WiFi should the power go out and then come back on. I am happy to report this has happened numerous times now with absolutely no issues. The little cameras followed their orders and reconnected seamlessly and no hiccups. I didn’t have to get involved at all! When I am traveling and open the app to show people how I can move the cameras all around, zoom in and out, see in the dark, listen in, and even speak to anyone at home through the camera’s speaker they really can’t believe this is possible for $40 and without expensive experts doing the setup. Well, it is possible, I can attest.
