### 3/5 — App crashing on iPhone 8

*2025-02-26, version 2.3.9*

It was working great up until last week.
Definitely worth getting the app but wait awhile after the latest update if you intend to subscribe.

### 2/5 — Requires purchasing the same cards twice

*2022-06-12*

Looks like a great app that is really well designed and makes some of the normal paper and pencil bookkeeping unnecessary. Unfortunately, if you have already spent the money to purchase the actual physical game card packs, you cannot use this app. You must re-purchase all of the same card packs in digital form. The digital card packs are not exactly cheap either. Very frustrating, as it basically renders the app worthless for building a force or calculating cap costs.

### 3/5 — Could use improvement

*2021-10-20*

I live the idea but paying for most of the cards Is a great way to turn people away Gonna keep it installed tho

### 3/5 — Ok

*2021-03-27*

I really like it but I wish there was a Gide and a join a random server button. Otherwise it’s good

### 4/5 — Good App - Well Supported

*2021-01-15*

The App is well supported and issues are addressed immediately. The subscription is a welcomed addition for those of us with a ton of content. I can see me using this more the the event, creature, stranger and danger cards more than anything else. But being able to build a team and enemy force quick should come in handy.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2020-10-04*

This app is great! Easy to use and speeds up game play a ton! Highly recommend

### 5/5 — Excellent design

*2020-09-19, version 1.0.3*

This is the best put together wargame companion app that I’ve seen.
Beautiful design
Supports all game modes including even networked multiplayer tracking.

### 5/5 — Just Brilliant

*2020-09-19, version 1.0.3*

This little app is just the thing I needed to keep track of my Fallout Wasteland adventures. Lots of work has gone into this app that is very evident. It’s the bees knees for settlement tracking across games and just is cool.

### 5/5 — Great game, great App

*2020-09-18, version 1.0.2*

Fallout Wasteland Warfare, is quickly becoming one of my favourite tabletop games. It’s got a good sense of depth to it and is supported by lots of downloadable - including this app. You only need a few models to play, so the entry price is only around £50 for new players. This app makes it easier than ever to get started. Keep up the good work!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Requires Subscription

*2026-08-12*

So frustrating that I need to PAY TO DO ANYTHING.

### 1/5 — Login refusal

*2026-06-10*

It refused to let me login either through a Apple account or a Google account

### 1/5 — Unfortunately doesn’t work well

*2026-05-03*

The battle manager wouldn’t let me progress beyond round 3 (I had it set to 10 rounds). Also all the cards were blank when I clicked on them. Had to give up on the game because we were using it to track everything. Real disappointing. May give it another shot if they fix it

### 1/5 — Greedy

*2025-02-02*

The game wants you to pay almost 100 dollars for everything and the game is too low budget for what it asks and if want the cheapest it’s 3 each month but that’s not worth it for how poorly put together it is IT IS NOT WORTH IT DO NOT INSTALL

### 1/5 — There is literally no reason for this app not to be free.

*2024-10-20*

Why do I need to pay to write stats for figures? If I already owned them I would be needing to pay twice and either way there is no information I can’t find for free online. This glorified google docs sim doesn’t have any reason to be monetized. Don’t even waste the storage space

### 1/5 — I know I’m late but

*2024-04-18*

I just got into Westland warfare and this app is terrible. Good job going the GW root. Make me buy the product twice. Other companies like conquest have a free app that gives you access to rule and model stats for free. Man no wonder no one plays your games. You are a terrible company.

**Developer response:** The app is built and maintained by a member of the community, and app subscriptions help to pay him for his hard work. If you don't feel like the functionality offered in the app is for you, we already offer all of the cards for free on our website as PDF downloads. For more information on why the app is priced the way it is, see https://www.maloric.com/fallout/pricing.

### 1/5 — Missing various features

*2023-10-28, version 2.0.12*

And also constantly makes you choose to use a local copy or a cloud copy of the list you are working on.

### 1/5 — Why

*2021-12-09, version 1.3.14*

why just why

### 2/5 — A great idea poorly executed.

*2025-05-31, version 2.3.11*

This app seems to fail to load anything near everytime I load it up. I did once get it to work. But It didn’t last long enough to use in a physical game. It’s really very irritating. The physical game is very good. This app lets it down. Many other table top games get this right. The precedent is very well set. Poor show chaps.

### 2/5 — New Bug Makes App Unusable

*2024-05-11*

I’ve had this app for a while and recently decided to use the subscription service to play around with list building. I enjoyed it and found it quite affordable up until the last week or so. Every time I open the force list section, the app loads infinitely showing me none of the lists I constructed. If I try and build a new force, it loads again and then locks me out of the app until I close it. I sent an email to which I’ve received no reply and just unsubscribed. If this is resolved I’d be happy to change my review to 5 stars as otherwise I find the app to work perfectly for what I need!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — App is great

*2024-11-27*

For someone who doesn’t like to have a ton of clutter around the game table his app is great. Easy to view and add things. Easy to build campaigns. Overall great app. Just wish it was updated more frequently but still awesome!

### 5/5 — Random generator and RPG

*2024-06-04, version 2.2.2*

Where are those?

### 5/5 — Works great

*2022-09-12, version 1.3.16*

Works great, minor issue of having to wait for expansions but eh. It’s a great app and makes playing a lot easier .

### 5/5 — Must Have!

*2022-08-26*

Fantastic utility with the game, especially keeping track of tokens and AI. Subscription gets you everything for about a fifth the cost of one card pack!

Only problem I have is that the process for deleting forces is not clear. Is there a way to do this?

### 5/5 — Great Tool

*2021-12-13, version 1.3.14*

Really handy and great place to find the updated cards. Keep up the good work!

### 5/5 — Nice to go on and have a look

*2021-09-29, version 1.3.12*

So I downloaded this before I started collecting the miniatures and I just wanted to look at the miniatures and see what they had from the games but now I am into this game and I love it cute little app and I would recommend it to players of the game

### 5/5 — It’s good it’s like a board game

*2021-06-07, version 1.3.1*

I really like the game it reminds me of a board game and I really like board games also it’s cool how you need caps to build settlements and I really like the whole system

### 5/5 — Crashes when trying to subscribe

*2021-01-13*

Tried reinstalling, rebooting iPad Air 2. Nothing helps. Click on subscribe and it crashes to desktop.

**Developer response:** Sorry about this. The problem should now be fixed. If you still have the issue, try force closing the app first, and if that doesn't work, you'll need to reinstall from the App Store. As always, if you have any more problems, email fallout@maloric.com.

### 5/5 — Completely worth it!

*2020-11-17*

This app makes the game much easier to track. Yes, you have to purchase the cards in the app as well. However, all of them cost less than one box of models and it again, it makes playing the game MUCH easier.

### 5/5 — Pretty... good

*2020-10-20*

Really good if you want an easier managed battle and settlement system. Paying for every single pack about 15 bucks each is excessive. One thing I want is a custom character maker with custom stats, armors, names, picture, etc. Plus pretty much all it is is moving the rename and custom picture over and adding a blank character card. Really cool though, recommend getting so you can see the cards you don’t have.
