I’ve noticed that when I speak to friends who are from Japan in Japanese, they ask to double check if I’m ere native because of how quickly I’m picking up fluency as a beginner. Not only isn’t helping me reinforce pronunciations and helping me learn proper sentences, but it also helps me understand what each part means through its AI summary button. All in all I really love this app! Duolingo is much better *2026-08-25, version 0.0.416* I’ve had this app for a couple of years now. One day the premium version logged me out and I tried to log in but couldn’t even though I had paid for a year long subscription. I even tried resetting my password a couple of times to see if that was the issue and it wasn’t. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling and that didn’t work either. I contacted the developer and they did not help at all. I have requested a refund and they have not responded at all. I would avoid buying a subscription and just use Duolingo.
