## What is Famd?

Famd helps adults connect with nearby families who may share their interests, routines, and stage of family life.
Create a thoughtful family profile, discover compatible families in your area, and connect when the interest is mutual.
With Famd, you can:
• Discover nearby families using approximate location
• Share your family’s interests, availability, and general information
• Connect with families you’d genuinely like to know
• Chat privately after a mutual connection
• Coordinate lightweight plans with matched families
• Create or join Play Groups for local family communities
• Host or RSVP to one-time and recurring group meetups
• Discover community events, suggest events, and share group or event invites
• Choose when to share optional adult profile details
• Hide, block, report, disconnect from, or reconnect with families
• Manage your discovery visibility and notification preferences
Famd is designed for adults, parents, guardians, caregivers, and families expecting a baby. It does not provide childcare, background checks, identity verification, emergency services, or supervised meetups.
Use your judgment when communicating or meeting someone new. For first meetups, choose a public place, tell someone where you are going, and leave if anything feels wrong.
Famd does not require child accounts and is designed to minimize sensitive child information. Do not add child names, exact birthdays, child photos, medical details, or exact home addresses.
Privacy matters to us. Your exact location, private discovery settings, message history, and optional adult introduction details are not shown to unrelated families. Private-home event details are limited to the host and families who are going.
Famd is operated by Made by Peel LLC.
