## What is FaMEALies?

We believe in keeping things simple yet effective. Our opinionated approach focuses on what matters most:

• Two-Week Focus: Planning is limited to the current and next week. This keeps meal planning manageable and helps families focus on immediate needs while avoiding overwhelming long-term planning.

• Individual Accounts: Each family member gets an account, ensuring personal nutrition goals and dietary preferences are properly tracked. This promotes accountability and allows everyone to participate actively in meal planning.

• Simplified Nutrition Tracking: Nutritional statistics (calories, carbs, fat, protein) are calculated based on planned meal portions rather than actual consumption. This deliberate choice eliminates the hassle of logging every bite while providing valuable nutritional insights for preparing balanced meals.

• Family Leadership: The member who creates the family becomes the family head; the only one with full administrative rights to edit and delete planned meals or remove family members. This ensures clear organization and prevents accidental changes.

• Family-Friendly Pricing: Only the family head needs a paid subscription; all other family members are automatically included in the plan. Thus, you can use the app with your entire family under a single subscription.
