## What is Family Archivist?

Family Archivist is the private, evidentiary archive for everything a family must remember, prove, govern and pass on across generations.

— Living Family Tree. Every person, every voice, every artefact in one canonical, hash-chained record. Invite living relatives; the administrator builds the tree; participation is bright, absence is calm.

— Object Universe. Catalogue the heirlooms with provenance, condition, and the protocols collectors actually use: watches, fine art, wine, vehicles, jewellery.

— Oral histories. Voice never leaves your iPhone. Transcription runs on-device using Apple Speech; the text sits next to the recording in the record.

— Sovereignty over convenience. Keys held in the Secure Enclave. Open formats throughout: GEDCOM 7, JSON-LD, BagIt, PDF dossiers. One-tap canonical export.

— Emergency file. A one-tap evidence packet for custodians and executors, sealed until the conditions you set are met.

Your account secures access (email or Sign in with Apple). The archive's contents stay in your custody — on your device and in your own iCloud.

Family Archivist is a 14-day free trial, then a single subscription unlocks every category. Apple handles billing — cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
