This is a tool to get everybody on the same page, just go to the phone or the computer and then we can see what we’re making for that coming meal. Then everybody can take part. And you can store recipes. ### 4/5 — Almost perfect *2025-06-05* I’m a very forgetful person, so having a way to organize everything with everyone in my family plus being able to share lists and others things is super helpful- my only complaint is that for some reason even when I set reminders they don’t actually go off. I have a widget on my Home Screen so it’s not a big deal, but still if I set a reminder to get a text alert for an hour before an event I would like to get a text alert an hour before my event lol ### 4/5 — Some things I’d fix *2025-02-26* I’ve been using this app for about a year now. Mostly for shopping lists. Here a few changes I would really appreciate: - when typing in a grocery item please automatically clear the text after the item is added to the list. Manually clearing every time is annoying. - add decimals. Currently when I go into a grocery item’s details and want to say “1.5 Cups” there is no decimal. Which means I always need to round up. - when I check items off the list I have to wait before I check off another item. Otherwise it will re-add that item to the list. So if I’m in the store and just grabbed 5 things in one aisle I have to tap, wait, tap, wait, etc. I would really prefer rapid checking off to be okay. - being able to add a little written note to grocery items would be great. I never use the ‘attachment’ feature, but I’d love to be able to write “aisle 4” or “get the blue one” Thanks for reading this! All your suggestions will be addressed in the next app update. ### 4/5 — Just one thing… *2024-11-27* I really love this app for managing my family’s crazy schedules. I like the calendar views, and I especially enjoy being able to toggle between family members to see what each person has going on. These features really help my husband and I stay on top of things. The only feature that I really wish was available would be a search feature. I would love to be able to find future or past events easily, and as the app is currently, that’s not possible. If you want to find a specific event that maybe you don’t have the exact date, you would have to get as close as you could from memory and then tap every event in that range in hopes of stumbling upon it. Adding a search option would really push this app way beyond what typical apps can do. ### 4/5 — Only needs one thing… *2024-09-25* A search feature! My whole family uses this calendar to track our appointments and schedules and activities, and the only thing the at annoys me is not being able to search for past or future events. ### 5/5 — Great app, responsive team! *2023-11-08* Having just had a baby, mine and my husbands diaries have changed somewhat. I wanted an app where we could see what we’re all doing and importantly who is looking after the baby at any time. Visually this app gave me exactly what I wanted, there were just a few extra features that would have made it perfect. I sent my feedback over, and not only got responses fast but the team have added my suggestions in a matter of weeks! Thank you all, it is basically now the perfect app for me :-) ### 4/5 — Really good so, but… *2023-10-02* I love so many things about this app. I love that you can change views, and looks specific family members events with the clutter. There’s a meal planning section and shopping list which is great. The only thing that I would add is a search tool. We’re a busy family and sometimes I want to look for a reoccurring activity, or a specific kid’s birthday party. If I don’t remember the exact date of an activity, I can’t reference it in any way. ### 5/5 — Very convenient! *2023-04-02* Very convenient app to use to keep my life all in order. I love that I’m able to coordinate meals, shopping lists, to-do lists and share a calendar with family, it makes my life 10x easier. Family Daily is a game-changer for organizing my lifestyle, would highly recommend. ### 4/5 — Almost perfect *2023-03-23* I do love this app, most of all the ability for my partner to collaborate on it with me. As a UXUI designer, the main few things I would change are calendar-view related. 1, I want to be able to see how much of a start or end day is covered by a multi-day event. (Ex: my custody starts Wednesday night and ends Sunday afternoon. Right now it looks like I have them all day those days) 2, after three events are added to a day, it reads “+2” and I can’t easily click to expand to see what those other two are. I have to go into another view. Which brings me to 3, the vertical 3-day and week views are unusable to me because of how illegible they are to my brain. It bothers me to no end. I’d love to see these changes because I think with a few tweaks this could make my life with my blended family run SO smoothly. Thank you for an app I already love and use almost daily! ### 4/5 — Seems great *2023-03-20* The only issue I have is it is difficult to access recipes. I’m not sure if I’m just not using this right, but the only way I can find recipes is through the meal plan. It’d be great if there was a separate tab for the recipes to look at/create/share/etc. I also wish there was a way to import recipes from the web when I find a new recipe I like or want to try, and for there to be a web version of the app for when I’m on my laptop. I’m excited to see where all the app will go in the future, it’s already a wonderful app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — ⚠️DO NOT GET⚠️ *2025-08-13* unreliable, and was so hard to set. If you are a parent looking for easier solution to help you organize your kid’s chores, this is not the app for you. Hard to navigate and overall not worth it. I am disappointed. ### 1/5 — Not Developed Enough Yet *2024-04-27, version 3.7.7* This app isn’t developed enough for full-time use, at least not by someone who wants to use Lists with any real intensity. I gave quite a bit of feedback to the developers via email. Hopefully, they implement some of it to improve, as it’s overpriced for a subpar app that doesn’t perform. Here are a few of my gripes: - can’t assign subtasks - can’t change dates/recurrence of subtasks - very difficult to reorder tasks - gets buggy when reordering tasks on duplicated lists - prompts save on check off of to-dos, then a new notification for the to-do pops up ### 1/5 — Push notifications don’t work!! *2023-11-09, version 3.6.4* No notifications work smh?!!! ### 1/5 — Do not download *2023-08-10, version 3.5.6* I downloaded this to check it out, and it asked if I wanted a subscription. I clicked x to exit the screen, and it automatically signed me up for a subscription. There is no way to cancel it, and it doesn’t even say how much the subscription costs. This is a SCAM ### 1/5 — Shady subscription model *2023-05-30, version 3.5.5* Stay away from this app! There’s no mention of this app’s subscription price when your 7 day trial ends ### 1/5 — Horrible App do not download *2023-05-25, version 3.5.5* Horrible app very sketchy. Does not tell you when you download the app that it’s going to charge you. It gives you a seven day free trial. There is no way to cancel the seven day free trial. It does not tell you how much it will cost at the end of the free trial very sketchy do not download!!! ### 1/5 — Would be great…but *2022-12-30, version 3.4.9* It crashes when I try to add to the grocery list. And it feels like it would be a great app but there is no price listed anywhere. It just says you will be charged after 7 days. I would pay for something like this but I would love to know how much I am being charged. ### 1/5 — Would be a great app… *2022-12-27, version 3.4.8* You have to pay for it and nothing I saw from the beginning stated this until partly through testing the app a notification popped up stating this was a free trial and I would have to pay. No price was stated. It was also glitchy and just closed down for no reason. It also accessed my photos WITHOUT asking for permission. NOT okay! ### 3/5 — Only 1 issue so far *2023-11-06* Really enjoying it but no matter what I do I’m not getting push notifications on my phone. I’ve checked the settings in the app a well as on my phone. I have no idea why reminders for events aren’t popping up when I have them set. Other than that I love the app. ### 3/5 — So close to perfect but can’t get past the view options *2022-05-26* Functionality, this app has pretty much everything I want. But I *can’t* get past the view options for the calendar. It has a 12 hour view with the option of viewing 1 day per individual, 1 day for the whole family, 3 days, or a week. But on alllll of the options it’s still the huge 12 hour view. Too expanded for me when I’m trying to look at the whole week, I have to keep scrolling down to look at everything. May not be a big deal to others, but it’s way too much of a hassle for me. I also dislike that there isn’t an effective way to view the whole month at a time. You can click on the month but you literally just see the calendar of dates, you can’t view your events there. Doesn’t fit my needs. Thank you! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Love *2026-01-05* Best creators 😍 ### 5/5 — Lifesaver - Neurodivergent Friendly *2025-09-22* I was constantly trying to find ways to remember things and organize my family’s schedule (2 adults, 6 kids + relatives) to no avail until I found Family Daily. The premium is super affordable and well worth the investment to have the shopping list, meal planning, and high volume of family members. We all are logged in and it keep us all informed for the times when we may forget to update each other. Re: my neurodivergent friendly rating: My ADHD makes it nearly impossible to keep up with most calendar apps because of either aesthetics or user interface. This is customizable enough to match my brain, but not so complicated that I lose steam. Not only can you toggle on/off which family members events are required or optional for, but the color coding system is not inherently tied to certain people which makes it customizable without restriction. Absolute perfection for anyone with a brain like mine that organizes events in a non-traditional way. It makes it where I can look at the month view and see exactly which events are school related, Dr appointments, sports/extracurriculars, etc. ### 5/5 — Best calendar ever *2025-09-14* Best calendar ever !
