## What is Family Jigsaw Puzzles?

Jigsaw turns your favourite photographs into beautiful, relaxing jigsaw puzzles.

Pick a picture, choose how many pieces you'd like, and rebuild it at your own pace by dragging the pieces into place. Tap a piece to turn it the right way up, and it gently clicks home when it's close — no fiddly precision required.

Designed to be calm and easy to use:
• Large, easy-to-grab pieces and a clear, uncluttered screen
• Three sizes — Easy, Medium and Hard — so it grows with you
• Tap to rotate; pieces snap into place forgivingly
• A little celebration when you finish

Made with family in mind: Jigsaw began as a gift from grandchildren to grandparents. Set up a shared iCloud album and children and grandchildren can drop in new photos from anywhere — and they'll be waiting as fresh puzzles the next time the album's owner opens the app. A warm, simple way to stay close through the pictures you love.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-08

Your puzzles now follow you between your own iPad and iPhone. Finish a puzzle on one
and it appears in your history on the other, and your settings stay the same on both.

The piece tray has had a lot of care this time round:
• Pieces no longer jump out the moment you touch them — take one when you mean to
• The tray scrolls with a flick and glides to a stop
• Pieces slide aside to make room, and close up again when you take one
• Put a piece back and it returns to the spot you dropped it on
• A piece you are holding always stays in front, never behind the panel

Also in this update:
• Move the picture around with one finger once you have zoomed in
• Portrait photos now show the right way up in the little preview button

### 1.1 — 2026-07-08

• Keep every piece upright — a new setting lets you turn piece rotation off for an easier, gentler game, or leave it on for more of a challenge.
• A clearer, bolder outline around the puzzle board, so it's easier to see where the pieces belong.
• Pieces now give a little bounce as they click into place — a satisfying sign you got it right, even with sound turned off.
• Sharper, clearer thumbnails when you're choosing a photo.
