I would appreciate the addition of a dark mode and dark app icon and fix the occasional time it will log out on its own. One more small issue is when I want to go into rider mode from student driver mode it makes me fully deactivate licensing logs. This app does everything I want it to: track my kid, tell me how fast she is driving, lets me know she hasn't crashed, and maintains a history of where she's been, but not where I have been. It's not free, but these features cost something and paying is better than having your info sold. I guess they can privately speed and look at their phone, but allow supervision on their terms. No option to change “role”, I’m the “supervising passenger” even if I’m driving alone. Same when a driver is actually the passenger. So my individual driving scores are tallied with the driver getting instructions—not very accurate method of grading. Scams you into a year long plan w/o clearly stating the discount negates the trial. I guess they know their app is worthless so they must trap you into no trial in order to make money on it. Terrible UI *2026-07-23* Life360 is a much better interface yet it has issues such as providing correct locations. This app is frustrating to use and my kids hate it. I have notifications turned off for it on my iPhone and in the app yet it still gives me a sound shenzimeone arrives or leaves home. That is annoying at best The other ludicrous fact about this app is that it provides a street address. No city or state. The map itself is hard to read so you need to zoom out to figure out where someone may be I just got a other notification while writing this even though they are turned off from my iPhone settings. Imglad I only paid $40 for the year for this. It tracks driving time and allocates day vs night hours. However it was spamming both my daughter and I with notifications - she would get updates of where I was driving, how fast I was going, etc when not in the car with me. I got a notification that it tracked my location 56 times in 3 days!!!! So I deleted the app. ### 2/5 — Not consistent *2024-07-29* I just got this 5 days ago with free trial version. I keep getting notices that my child has left home and arrived home when her car hasn’t moved and is siting in our driveway. It’s caused false alarms. Additionally the drive scoring portion is not user friendly because the speed limits are wrong in multiple places, so it gives falsely low scores. I plan to delete the app and not purchase the full version because it seems there are a lot of bugs that need to be worked out before making a purchase. **Developer response:** Hello Scronito, Thank you for your feedback. Did not connect the 3 of us as a family easily or properly. My son was the last to join and it now shows him as the payer. 2. As the parents, it doesn't seem like we have any controls over his app. We should be allowed to control what info we get from his phone for the app. He can chose if he shares location and notifications with us. 🤦🏼‍♀️ 3. I added all of my locations, and they didn't link with the whole family. It should be a family account where all of our info works together. We are currently using Life360, but we wanted to see if there was something else we could support and use, but Life360 is much more user friendly, makes more sense, and it easier to setup. Sorry. Without knowing the PIN the teen cannot turn off notifications going to the parents. The beep goes off right when you cross the limit, so it kind of reminds you instantly to slow down. What I like even more is that I get notified if my son is speeding. I don’t have to keep calling or checking, I just get an alert if something’s not right. It’s simple, but it really makes a difference. They provided me with information i needed to know once and for all. Like other times when i was in a relationship, but suspected my partner of cheating, if I didn’t have any damning info they would have shrugged it off and call me crazy.
