## What is Family Missions App?

From morning stress to calm routines. Family Missions lets your child do what needs doing themselves, with visual steps, positive rewards and a clear app that gives the whole family calm.

Less reminding. More high fives!

Getting dressed, brushing teeth, packing the school bag, every single day — and you asking ten times over. Family Missions turns that around: your child sees for themselves what needs doing, works through it step by step, and all you have to do is approve.
Every task is a stop on a route upward. The longer your child takes part, the higher they get. Six landscapes, from the stream at the bottom to the summit. No leaderboard between children: each one climbs their own mountain.
Once a task is done, children can earn stars! Save them up for a reward or for a family goal you set together.

FOR YOUR CHILD
- One step at a time, with the whole list always within reach
- A reading buddy that says something when things go well — a crocodile or a fish, your child picks. Or picks silence.
- Steps read aloud, and the minutes hidden when they only add pressure
- Stuck? One button, four ways out. None of them costs stars.
- Their own character, stars to collect, and growth that is only ever about them
- Celebrating without punishment, without shame
- No advertising. Nowhere in the app, on any plan — and no subscription selling in the child's side. Ever.

FOR YOU

- Missions, routines, rewards and family goals together on one tab
- Tasks that repeat themselves on the days and times you choose
- Approve or gently send back — straight from the notification if you like
- The weekly report: how much went by itself, without you having to ask. One tap and the other parent has it too.
- Nine widgets for your home and lock screen, including a family overview
- Several children and carers, depending on your plan
- Calm notifications and quiet hours

HOMEWORK TOGETHER

Break homework into manageable steps, set a calm timer, let your child ask for help, and go through it together. Available with Family Plus and Pro.

ON ONE DEVICE, OR ONE EACH

Hand your phone over in child mode, or pair your child's device with a code. Your child needs no email address. Switching between parent and child always asks for your PIN — in both directions.

START FOR FREE

Family Free gives you the complete basics with one parent and one child. Family Missions contains no advertising — nowhere in the app, on any plan, not even the free one. Family Plus and Pro give you room: more children, more at once, routines and Homework Together.

PRIVACY AND SAFETY

Parents manage the family and the child profiles. The app contains no advertising and no advertising technology. You can manage privacy and advertising choices and delete your account from within the app. Read the full privacy policy for all data categories, suppliers and retention periods.

Family Missions supports daily structure. The app makes no diagnosis, gives no medical advice, and does not replace professional guidance or treatment.

Subscriptions are paid for and managed through your App Store account. The current price and period are shown in the App Store before purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it through your App Store account. You keep access until the end of the paid period. Purchases can be restored in the app.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 2.0.2 — 2026-09-08

This update turns Family Missions into an app where the family actually talks to each other.

THE FAMILY CHAT

One conversation for the whole family: who said it, at what time, and a tick that turns blue once everyone has read it. A child who can't type yet picks their sentences from buttons. And you can put a child or the other parent on a message, so "Well done!" is no longer addressed to nobody.

VOUCHERS IN A WALLET

An earned reward is now a ticket with a number. Your child requests it, you approve, together you pick a day, and once it has happened you stamp it. Redeemed vouchers stay for a year, grouped by month.

A MESSAGE FROM MUM OR DAD

A compliment as its own card on your child's screen, with stars if you want. Your child can answer it with a single emoji.

THE FAMILY GOAL, IN PLAIN SIGHT

Who contributed to it, and how much — with a day-by-day view. Routines now count towards the goal too.

FOR YOUR CHILD

Their own "Family" tab: who is in the family, and what a brother or sister did this week. Stuck? Asking for help now really reaches a parent, and helping someone earns a star.

ALSO

- Everything runs live: what happens on one phone shows up on the other straight away.
- At the top for parents: the chat, switching to a child, and the vouchers — with a counter when something is waiting for you.
- A mission is now a one-off; anything that repeats is a routine.
- And a long list of fixes, including a chat where you could send messages that never arrived.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-08-29

This update fixes an issue that could close the app shortly after opening.

Advertising has also been removed from Family Missions entirely — nowhere in the app, on any plan, not even the free one.

### 2.0 — 2026-08-28

Version 2 is a complete redesign — calmer, quicker, and a lot more fun to use together.

FOR YOUR CHILD
• The day became a climb. Every task is a stop; the longer they take part, the higher they get. Six landscapes along the way.
• A reading buddy: a crocodile or a fish that says something when things go well. Your child picks — or picks silence.
• Stuck? One button, four ways out. None of them costs stars.

FOR YOU
• Five tabs instead of four. Plan brings missions, routines, rewards and family goals together; Growth is now a tab of its own.
• The weekly report: how much went by itself, without you having to ask. Share it with the other parent in one tap.
• Nine widgets for your home and lock screen, including a family overview.
• Switching between parent and child now always asks for your PIN.
• Child lost their own code? You set a new one in a single tap.

Also: dark mode on every screen, your own family name, and a great many small things put right.
