We use it as a family to always know where someone is. There’s an alarm button in case something happens. And it’s super convenient to communicate - messages, files, video are encrypted, and never stored on anyone’s servers. Such a contrast to what we’re used to. It even brought up a warning from Chrome. ### 1/5 — No good *2021-10-06* Only tracks phone real time when phones are close together. Thats silly cuz then i know where phone is. I want to know where my childs phone is when they are away from me not where they were two days ago or when she is with me. How does that help in an emergency? Smh **Developer response:** Dear User, thank you for your message. The child's cell phone must have a stable internet connection so that the current coordinates are transmitted to other family members. Please, check the internet on the child's phone when she or he is far from home. Otherwise, you really don’t need a tracker if you are in the same room with your loved ones. ### 3/5 — FamilyGo *2023-10-05* The map is not always accurate. Showed my mom in the wrong town for several days even though the tracking was on etc . ### 4/5 — SOS button *2022-07-23* Why isn’t there an SOS button in the app? For iPhones, the push notification is the only option for sending an SOS. **Developer response:** Hello Asynthi, thanks for your comment. You can additionally place an SOS widget at the desired location on the smartphone desktop. From our point of view an SOS button in the app itself is not quite practical, because in case of emergency the user should be able to send the message as quickly as possible.
