## What is Famous Footprints?

Walk in the footprints of famous people near you and all over the world! Famous Footprints is a community-driven database and application which records the places visited by notable people from the past and present. From kings and queens to pop stars, you can find "famous footprints" using this app!

Every upload is accessible through our mobile app, Famous Footprints. There is a "map view" and a "list view", both with the option to search by person, place, or "tags" (categories of famous people e.g. professions) or filter results by their distance from you. This makes it easy to find the people you are interested in. You can also choose to be notified when you are near one of these tags. How about "Guitarists", "Presidents" or "Movie Stars"?

Add a pin to our map with a name, photos, and any information you have about when and why the famous person was there. You can also like, comment, and share any of the people/places you find. Please share the app far and wide too because it is the users who really make it awesome!
