Very good resource but an incomplete inventory

I recently searched and uploaded games I attended over my lifetime. In my search on the platform, I noticed games missing from the inventory; specifically games from the 1971 season. I live in New York and attended both Mets and Yankees games, but could not find Mets games from April 1971. There may be more missing games (e.g., Expos). Hopefully, it’s being worked on and will be updated.

If possible, it would also be nice to add all Spring Training games available. I’m looking for two SF Giants spring training games from 1981.

Response from developer

Thanks for this. You found a real bug, and the detail in your review is what let us track it down. The good news: the 1971 games are in our system — our search just couldn't reach them. When you looked up that April 1971 Mets game, our lookup matched the Expos to the wrong modern franchise and searched for a matchup that never existed, so it came back empty. Your searches were fine; ours was broken. It's now our top priority, and a fix should be out soon. On spring training: we haven't found those 1981 Giants games in any structured data source — spring training doesn't seem to have been recorded consistently until around 2006. Spring games from 2006 on are already searchable, and we'll update the app to flag this when someone searches for an older one. When the fix ships we'll be able to find that April 6, 1971 opener against Montreal.

Cool but buggy

Really cool idea but the app was buggy for me. Adding photos was hit and miss. Kind of hard to navigate. I’ll probably swing back around in a bit to see if things are smoothed out.

Response from developer

Appreciate the honest look, Big Teej. We've been working hard on the scrapbook photo scanning specifically. One thing that can cause hit or miss results: when we build a scrapbook from your photo library, photos without location metadata can't always get auto-tagged. That might be part of what you ran into, but we'd love to hear more specifics so we're sure we're fixing the right things. Email support@fanarchy.fans and we'll dig in.

Not like twitter, nice try

It’s just another attempt at another social media platform with a theme, which will be gone in a year. Nothing like twitter. Twitter or X now is a wonderful place that you can chat without bias left leaning.

Response from developer

Ha, challenge accepted, VJFrank. We're not trying to out-X anybody, and we get that it's not for everyone. Where we're going is a bit different though: alongside the chatter, Fanarchy can build you a baseball scrapbook from your photos and game feeds, all wrapped around your MLB team. Might not be your thing, but if you're up for it we'd love more of your spicy takes. Hit support@fanarchy.fans and tell us what you'd want to see.

Good App For the Most Part

The app is great but it doesn’t show team records

Response from developer

You asked, we shipped it, D1Goose. Team standings are now live in the League tab. You can even pull up the standings for any day in history and see where your team sat at any point in the season. Sorry it took us a minute to circle back. Reviews like yours genuinely shape what we build.

Enjoy it!

Really enjoyed finding my teams talking heads all in one place. One change would make is for iPad, make it full screen.

Response from developer

Appreciate you, Fur72. Happy you're finding all your team's voices in one place — that's the whole point. iPad full-screen is on our list, we've heard this a few times now. We'll get there.
