You make a profile and then when you're presented with potential matches you can't match, talk, or even look af their profile without having to pay. The idea of the app is interesting and I downloaded it to see what it was all about... but it's so so badly designed. Save yourself the trouble and don't touch this thing with a ten foot pole. At least until the developers see reason. ### 1/5 — Good concept poorly executed *2020-07-27, version 1.0* This seems on the surface like an interesting concept and I think if the developers had taken a little more time to create a better product it might have been great. As it is, the app reminds me of fanfiction.net circa 2012 in terms of not looking modern or professional and being clunky and hard to navigate. The fact that you can put your full name unlike many dating apps seems like a problem waiting to happen, and the fact that most users have fandom avatars and quotes as their profile pics made me hesitant to talk to anyone. Not that I would have talked to anyone anyway, because you have to pay money and earn points to do so, which is absolutely ridiculous in my opinion. The user base, at least what I could see of it, consists of mostly men and mostly 45+ men, which although there’s nothing wrong with that, doesn’t exactly make it a good app for young people or people interested in women. Even though I set my age range from 18 - 25, I keep getting e-mails about matches with 50 year old men, and when I’ve tried repeatedly to unsubscribe from the email list I haven’t even been able to get to the website to do so. At this point I would like to forget I ever downloaded the app, but it’s difficult when I get daily emails from them. TL:DR, don’t download unless you are interested in older men with no profile picture who you have to money to talk to. ### 1/5 — Only problem is the money *2020-07-26, version 1.0* You can do your profile and pictures for free. That is IT. Now, if it was like $2 to talk to people and view their profile, that would be fine. But $24? The people who made this are nuts. The only thing a high price like that will do is push people away. I’ve already heard bad things about this app on other sites simply because of how expensive it is. Literally the ONLY reason I’m keeping this on my phone is because I’m hoping that they’ll see reason and lower the price to at least below $10. What if a person hates it? They just wasted $24 for nothing. The idea of this app is amazing. No one is on it, everything has to be paid, and a bad experience overall. Would give 0 stars if possible! ### 1/5 — pointless scam *2020-07-23, version 1.0* Joined this app as a joke because of all the obnoxious ads on Tumblr and wanted to see if I would be as disappointed as I thought I would be. Spoiler alert: it really is. There’s no way to communicate with other users or even see their bio. Well, that’s a lie. There’s no FREE way. The minimum required payment to “start a dialogue” (their words, not mine) is $24.99 for a single month. There’s only nine (9) people signed up including myself. It’s be such a waste of money to do that when you could literally go into a tag regarding your favorite fandom and type a post saying “anyone interested in x fandom?? i need more people to follow :)” and I guarantee you will have more interaction than you ever could with this app. Also you need to pay to keep the “dialogue” going, so, there’s that. Don’t worry, though! Free users have the ability to search for other users!
