Set the URLs free! ### 4/5 — Used to Love But Can’t Close Video Ads *2023-11-08* Love fangraphs and loved how convenient this app was but recently they have switched to video ads and the UI for these ads puts the exit button out of reach on my phone(or it just doesn’t work) so every time one of these ads pop up I have to exit the app. But when I reload the app and select a new article or search a player it all happens again! Hope this gets fixed because I loved using this app. ### 5/5 — Its ok *2023-07-05* The app looks good and its great for a quick stat lookup. Reasons why I dont use it: 1. It still has its hiccups. For example, i opened the app and clicked on two prospects articles (mariners & padres), but i couldnt get to the content, i could only read Eric’s bio 2. I appreciate the thought of the “quick” tab, but i never actually want it, so to land on it every time and have to tap over to stats is mildy annoying 3. I desperately want the stat control settings to be saved to my preferences. This might be the biggest reason i skip the app. I dont want to have to toggle plate discipline on every time Overall, the app just doesnt have the functionality that need so i prefer the mobile site, but i do appreciate that it exists and i expect it will be quite good down the road ### 4/5 — Great app but one suggestion… *2023-04-27* Great app version of the excellent FanGraphs website. The best of the website features have now been added to the app, and instantly this app has become one of the top five apps on my devices. Once you do understand where to go to find what you’re looking for, you can try to customize the groups which is cool, until you close the app & open it again & all of the changes you just made to help make the app easier & faster to use, don’t save & you’re stuck with the same screen you started out with. It’s great if you want to look at the stats for just one game; however, due to the user interface, if you want to look at multiple games / players, it will take a significant amount of time. What Took You So Long?!! *2023-01-17* I have been waiting and waiting for a Fangraphs app for years, and now it is finally a reality. What a relief! Thank you! So glad to have this content in an app rather than on the web. However, it does need a bit of fine tuning. For one thing, the size of the articles and charts need to be adjusted a bit better to fit the size of the screens of iOS devices - particularly iPhones. Secondly, a key feature is missing: **the glossary!!** I don’t see it anywhere - and it is a must! (the stats and their parameters are really well explained!). So please add that to the app - or, if it is actually there and I have somehow overlooked it, please give it a tab, button or visible heading that makes it easier to find! That is all for now, but again, what a relief to have Fangraphs as an app, finally!!! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Big improvement *2026-08-05* I tried out the app when it first launched and didn’t see the point of using it over the browser. This is now a much improved experience and works much better than the browser on mobile. ### 5/5 — Great Product *2026-07-27* Gave 5 stars but would be nice to fix landscape mode on the iPad so you could still navigate without having to flip the iPad. As just about every baseball platform everywhere has completely disappeared behind a pay wall, you allowing a few free articles per month to financially challenged fans, allows access to an entire demographic of readers the other platforms completely leave behind!
