Users need to stand up to aggressive apps like this and let them know we won’t deal with their marketing tactics that are not in the best interest of the user. I shared a ticket I bought for my girlfriend, assuming she’d be able to view it in her email. Nope, we got to the venue, she opened the shared ticket email and had to install the app right there in line. Poor internet connection because we’re at a huge event so it took 20 minutes to install.
