Even though some features were behind a paywall, it still let you compare player stats and make solid picks without needing to drop serious cash. But recently, they dropped this so-called “NBA update,” and it feels like a bait-and-switch. Now, you can’t even click around the app without getting hit with a subscription screen that totally takes over. Unless you’re willing to fork out at least $20 a month, there’s pretty much nothing you can do here anymore. Maybe if you’re some big-shot baller betting thousands, it’s worth it. But for the average guy just trying to beat his buddies in fantasy football? It’s useless now. They took what was once a solid, go-to app and turned it into a money pit. Save yourself the time (and money) unless they bring back the old features that made it worth it. **Developer response:** Thanks for the review. Would have liked it and used it more but for an app like this to charge $40 is pretty silly. Left a bad taste in my mouth right off the bat. Maybe get creative with ads or try a tiered subscription model, but don’t try to fleece me right off the bat. Be careful if you do the free trial - make sure you cancel in time otherwise you’ve spent $40 on some overpriced, educated guesses. **Developer response:** Our projections are unbiased based on player prop markets. Hop in our Discord if you want to learn more. ### 1/5 — No Free option *2024-09-23* Don’t bother downloading the app. After they force you to sign up with your email they will politely ask that you pay 40 bucks a year or you can’t use the app at all. **Developer response:** NBA projections are currently free. I understand you need to make money but the research doesn’t take long enough to compile to justify that price point. **Developer response:** Hop into our Discord or send us an email so we can learn more about your experience. We have no ads that mention that. Taking thousands of odds/lines, normalizing them, and running calculations on them in real-time is non-trivial. We’re sure no one was faster than us in updating projections after CMC was ruled out and Jordan Mason got the start :) ### 4/5 — Okay! *2024-09-09* This thing is awesome! Especially on Sunday’s, updates come in frequently with pertinent information, eliminating extra time spent on research and double-checking lineups. The only thing I would like to see added is a “search” feature. Right now you have to scroll through the rankings or notifications to find the player you’re looking for. **Developer response:** The search feature has been added! Thanks again for your feedback.
