We tried to fix mistakes of previous games and made it in fantasy style. Fun TD game with many levels and while it does take a bit of grinding to level up and gather enough resources, it is fun to do. The random level generator is fun as well once you overcome all the levels. ### 3/5 — Good game with some caveats *2024-02-08* Gameplay is good through the first 27 levels. After that it starts to get buggy. Sometimes when you upgrade to a new tower, it selects the wrong type. Really a pain when you’re needing air or ground support specifically and you get the wrong one. Tower targeting isn’t great. Sometimes towers disregard targeting preferences (closest to exit, most dangerous). Game speed up helps some levels but I think they keep it from going any faster to limit gold grinding. Would be nice for one more level of speed(some levels take a while to complete). Upgrade of castle isn’t bad but there’s no way to reset and some upgrades are good for some levels but horrible for others. Some towers aren’t very effective. I ended up concentrating on mortars and synergy (and some ion) and made it pretty far, but I’d wasted gold in upgrades I don’t need or that I didn’t find effective. The bugginess of the tower behavior finally made me drop the game around level 36. As others said, the ads aren’t overly intrusive (30 seconds) and you get decent rewards for them. I’ve played other games by this author and have really enjoyed them. This one isn’t quite in the same level as the Planet Modular TD game (completed that one; well done game). Graphics are good. Story line doesn’t impact gameplay really. A fun diversion but may get frustrating if you don’t spend real $ on upgrades. ### 3/5 — Difficult *2022-03-04* The difficulty of this game is unfortunately taking away from how great it is. Ability to level up towers is clunky and very expensive. Level difficulty goes straight from one star to three star difficulty and the difference is huge. Having to replay each level at least a dozen times to even gain one star achievement. But I got it. Nice game play. Easy to earn gold. Yes, there are commercials but not intrusive. You get lots for watching commercials, so totally worth it. And purchases are not overly expensive, so I occasionally purchase. Good game. Thank you! ### 4/5 — Needs to be balanced *2021-02-12* EDIT : I added one star to my previous review because I went till the end of the missions and it was really nice. The review below still stands though, you get stuck sometimes with no way to pass a level if you don't upgrade your castle, and there is no way to upgrade it without passing a level to get cristals... Should be a side way to gain ressources (the random mode is clearly unthinkable before you get to the end, way too much difficult even in the lowest difficulty setting...) Also : we NEED MORE WAVES at certain levels ! At least in random mode you should be able to select more than 20 waves and go further in strategy and upgrading towers ! This is very promising, I like the gameplay very much, and everything sounded awesome at the first glance, but I think you guys should test your game better. The 4th level is already impossible to complete, you quickly get to fill all the available pedestals, evolves and upgrades, and max everything out, and for the three last waves you just watch enemies getting to your castle and your cash growing without anything you can do. It's sad to be forced to play again multiples times the first levels just to get a few stars to add little upgrades to the towers, and this when you're only at level 4. This clearly needs some balance and smoother difficulty increase or quicker tower power increase. Also, I think the game is highly battery-consuming, maybe it needs some adjustments there too. I'll definitely keep an eye on future upgrades there because it was frustrating to stop now at the beginning of the game ! Keep up the good work. ### 3/5 — Just ok *2020-08-24* Kinda feel like i wasted my time playing it. The story line is pretty much: oh no they are attacking, then good job we beat them. The strategy is pay or grind to win. Takes an ungodly amount of resources to play harder levels. I would have quit but there is a glitch for free resources so i completed all levels. If u pause the game right after u get a kill, u keep getting that much money every 15 seconds as long as it is paused. Its lame and boring to do so, but it helped me win. Game would be better if all towers were unlocked for free so u could play around more.
