There have not been any updates. ### 3/5 — Was the best… but having issues *2025-08-25, version 1.4.5* This was the only FAR / AIM app I would recommend a few years ago because of the ability to sync my bookmarks across multiple devices, the UX, and the responsiveness of the support team. Unfortunately things seem to have changed. The highlight feature is essentially broken. If you highlight something accidentally, it’s a coin toss as to whether or not you’ll be able to remove that highlight. I’ve emailed support, but they have not responded. I’m a bit concerned this is abandon-ware. ### 2/5 — Informative, but some app issues *2025-07-17, version 1.4.5* Formatting makes the regs very readable, and they’re always kept updated. Highlighting / bookmarking is a great feature for tabbing out your regs. Only major issue is what seems to be a memory leak that is causing the app to freeze after it is used for just a few minutes. Unfortunately I’m considering other options as it makes it frustrating to teach my students the regulations from an app that keeps freezing. ### 4/5 — Good but could be better with a Dark Mode! *2024-09-29, version 1.4.5* Love the App but it will be alot better with the option for a Dark Mode! ### 3/5 — Highlighting *2024-08-28, version 1.4.5* The app is great and it works for the most part. So far the only issue I have is the highlight function sometimes doesn’t work properly. There are a couple of regulations I have highlighted and now I can not un-highlight it or change the highlight color. This is very frustrating because I went with this app because of the highlighting function. ### 3/5 — Great ideas that has some bugs *2024-08-14, version 1.4.5* I enjoy using the app. Search feature and highlighting are really nice. But sometimes the app will freeze. Using this app is far more convenient than managing the FAA’s PDFs. This appears to be the official publications wrapped within an app, and any bookmarks & highlights we make are saved even when the content is updated. I couldn’t get the app to work so I call the customer service number found in the Home/About section at the bottom of the app. I left a message and received a call back immediately. The man who responded is the owner developer himself. He walked me through, reinstalling the app and some of the features. He said he would have his IT team look at potential issues and updates. Note that the call back came from an 800 number proceeded by “spam likely”. I answered the call anyway presuming it was coming from AviationMobileApps.com.
