## What is Far UVC?

UVC light inactivates microorganisms by the absorption of radiated electro magnetic energy which causes a photochemical reaction that alters the molecular components essential to cell function. This application is used to configure and maintain UVC Cleaning Systems appliances which produce UVC light.

### 3.5 — 2026-05-18

Lamp odometer (hour meter) display updated to include minutes and seconds in addition to hours.  Firmware updated to have lamp odometer properly increment when lamp is set on 100% duty cycle.  Manual operation updated to support on until turned off mode.  Moved Start for Schedule operation into the Set Schedule screen and Start for Manual operation into the manual configuration screen.  This version of app requires firmware version 40.2 or later.  Firmware can be updated to this level using the app device maintenance screen.

Add manual control of UVC lights including automated turn-off timer.  
Should be used with firmware 39.40 or later.

Updated schedule UI, daily duration to plus/minus to avoid non-stick on slider pull all the way to right.  Change color and font on day of week scheduling to make selection more obvious and update duty cycle tables.

UI updates on firmware update to better handle zero updates available.  Correctly store device access code in phone database when the high bit is 1 (exceed int).  UI update of daily treatment start to use 0..23 numeric slider rather than a 24 element Picker where not all elements could be selected in one click.
