It has helped him tremendously. Now My great granddaughter is benefiting from the same way. The stories are the same as I was a child. So wonderful. There is content on here that is much too mature for her. There doesn’t seem to be any way that you can filter out certain topics. I’m so disappointed because it seems that this was a nice app that she could have been excited about as she loves to read and be read to. However, I don’t feel it is safe to let her use this app. I would be very concerned because of the mature content that she has at her fingertips. **Developer response:** Hi Seniorita. Do NOT download this! *2021-07-22, version 3.65* Do NOT download this!! I just found out that FarFaria have been charging me $4.99/MONTH for 3 YEARS!! I downloaded this ONCE, paid a ONE time charge (LIE) of $4.99. I went onto my subscriptions, where you can normally “Cancel Subscription” and the only option was to REsubscribe! Now I have to call Apple and get help with this. This is a sneaky way at to get people’s money. Shame on FarFaria. ### 1/5 — Free trial doesn’t work *2021-06-29, version 3.65* So I subscribed to the free trial with purchase of 1 year access at end of trial. I will definitely cancel trial right away. This app has trouble recognizing subscription. What’s the point of a trial if it just keeps taking you to the subscription page every time you try to read a book?? Do not download this app. It’s a massive failure. This company keeps taking money out of my account after I cancelled my subscription several times. The monthly charge keeps reappearing, I no longer have the app on my phone so I can’t access the subscription. You are able to read or in our case only open one book a day ONE time. If the app glitches, you are out of luck because once you try to click on the same book again you get the “you’ve read your book for the day” message. We use it on a new iPad just purchased a few months ago. The app takes forever to load up, half the time it can’t recognize if we are connected to the internet (when we clearly are and no other apps are having the same issue), and books take a long time to load. The app is updated so that’s not the issue either. I will probably keep it through the summer just to have a reading program for my daughter, but once school starts, if her school offers a reading program or substitute I’ll likely cancel this. This is really glaring, do you not have any women on your product design teams? You should know better in this day and age. Almost has me deleting the app, but my kids would be sad.
