A game of Farkle should not span days! Seeing as how 1 match probably won’t exceed 10–15 min if continuously played back and forth, 5 hours would be AMPLE time before a forfeit is forced. I’m tired of waiting around for my opponents! Other than that, the app is great! In the last couple days, I’ve been getting constant ads. ### 4/5 — idk *2025-03-31* idk about this the dice don't feel random at all- the rules are different from normal farkle, which is fine but they should have the classic rules for classic games and the new rules for "normal" mode. they should also offer multiplayer. even up to 4 would be cool. i'd even settle for 3. but yeah fix your dice generator because there's no way. guess it's still the best option for farkle on the phone. ### 4/5 — Great Game! *2025-03-25* I love that I can put it down and come back later. I am also glad there is an AI opponent I can play with if I do want a quicker game. Very user friendly & satisfying to look at. Not too many ads, thankfully! It often feels like I’m rolling nothing over and over again; but the kicker was when I rolled hot dice three pairs and then 3 snake eyes- but there was a server error that made it not sync. Rolled again. Hot dice with the same three pairs and 3 snake eyes. If it wasn’t connected to the server how did I roll the same thing? I think there’s some algorithm at work that makes you want to spend money to get re-rolls. Edit: updated my review since the developer actually took the time to respond. With that said, this is the best Farkle app in the store. **Developer response:** Thanks for your review. I can assure you that the rolls are not manipulated and are random. The device and the server share a secret key that is used to generate rolls using random number generation. When a player rolls their dice, the key allows the server the generate the same roll. This is done to verify that rolls are not manipulated and to ensure a player can’t cheat by redoing a roll just to get better dice. If you play it for a while, the patterns are so obvious they take the fun right out of the game. You CANNOT win consistently by skill and odds at high rollers table. The bots will make multi-thousand point roles. By the way, in their wisdom, they thought we wouldn’t notice all bots being named with an adjective + noun like dirty penguin or greasy chicken. I wish I could get my money back. ### 1/5 — Algorithm is garbage *2025-06-21, version 1.11.0* Ready to stop playing and delete altogether. The algorithm is complete trash. If I have 2 of any die, especially ones available and choose both, I Farkle 95% of the time. Needs to be fixed. ### 1/5 — Hacked *2025-04-16* I’m not trying to be a jerk. But this app is hacked. My wife and I got it and after playing it for a couple of days, some strange individuals came to our games and played for a while but then just sat there. Then several players came in uninvited and started harassing us. They took over my wife’s account. Then she made a new account and was not on her phone and her avatar came to my game. Like three or four of her. My account started to act strange so I deleted it. My wife’s phone started glitching and her account statistics were changing. She was not on her phone. Please be careful. Thank you. ### 1/5 — Pay to win *2025-02-18, version 1.9.0* The chances are skewed slightly to encourage you to buy bonus rolls, it’s entirely obviously from the amount of times my partner and I play that the 1s and 5s have a slightly lower chance than 1/6 of hitting per dice. The chances of losing with 4-5 dice is something much higher in this game than in reality, which is low. ### 1/5 — Too Many Farkles *2024-12-08, version 1.7.2* This game barely allows you to get over 300-500 pts. Expect a Farkle every other time. Expect several farkles are your first roll A LOT. Which is so rare when playing in person. It’s just not fun getting a Farkle every other time. I’ve gotten 7 farkles in a row WITHOUT chancing it. Consider another app if you live to actually play the game and not deal with so many farkles and ADs. ### 2/5 — Too Slow *2025-02-16* I do like playing the real Farkle with real dices. It is fun to play with random players if they are really playing the game. However, there are too many players that would start a game and doesn’t play the game and then it can take a week to finish playing with the player. If they don’t play anymore, then it takes 48 hours before they are forfeited. I wish people would just keep playing the round till it is over which doesn’t take long at all. While you’re waiting for slow opponents you can take part in tournaments or play against AI in “instant games”. It’s hard to control slow players but it’s something we’re working on. Been playing for 7 months, and can never seem to get more than 10 bonus rolls on a ticket, and I’ve done that maybe twice.
