The concept feels rooted in reconnecting people to simple exchange food, goods, skills, and neighbor-to-neighbor support without everything being strictly cash-based. In practice, though, the experience leans more toward a traditional marketplace. Many listings still request money upfront, and while bartering is technically allowed, it often feels secondary rather than the main way people interact. Because of that, the “barter” label can feel a bit stronger in branding than in actual day-to-day use. The app itself is functional for browsing local offerings and connecting with sellers, but if someone is expecting a true barter ecosystem where swaps are the norm, it may feel a little disappointing.
