Way faster than Field X, with more options, works very well with your cellular device. No need for a giant computer or iPad, to put in maps and do other things. Yes, you will want a computer, but for scouting you can use your phone. I gave it four stars because there’s just a few things I don’t like about it and sometimes it’s slow but I’ve never made a note and then it lost it, I have had that issue with the Field X.

Been using Farm QA for a couple of years now and its great!  What I love most about is is that it’s fully customizable, both scouting templates and reports, and you and do it yourself on the fly.  This means I can have only the weeds/pests that I deal with and in the order format I want.  The reports only include items rated by default, so if you only find 3 or 4 weeds the other 20 you have in your list don’t show up.  Very responsive and active developer.  They’ve add a bunch of new analytics if you want/need that.  Highly recommend trying the free trial - you’ll be hooked!

I have used a few scouting apps in the past and nothing has come close to FarmQA. First, it is awesome that i can set templates up for each crop and add things and i need and not have a bunch if extras that i will never use. Making templates specific to my region for pests is great. Second, clients love how easy and clear they are to follow along with recommendations and photos to give them a good visual of the good and/or bad. Third. The customer service has been phenomenal. Ben was very fast in helping me with any and all my issues. Highly highly recommend FarmQA for agronomists and crop consultants.

For private consultants, this is the perfect app/software for you.  I’ve used fieldX before and this program will make you throw rocks at fieldX.  Farm QA is VERY user friendly with tons of ways to make your in field scouting much more efficient with the ability to recommend product mixes at the touch of a button.  My farmers have this app as well on their phones and have the ability to enter variety and planting dates as they plant.  Super helpful at our busiest time and for farmers who just “fill the drill and go”.  No crazy fees for multiple devices either.  Also the service is awesome.  Ben is very knowledgeable of the software and simply explains and breaks down any question you may have.  Seriously give these guys a try, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
