Are we no longer able to use fences? ### 4/5 — I LOVE THIS GAME *2026-04-23, version 2.8.6* As someone who needs to relax and unwind after work everyday, but also loves to keep the brain occupied, this game is perfect. However there’s only one down fall. Tasks glitch and stop progressing. They freeze as if you haven’t completed what’s required even though you have. This has only happened on one task, but makes it harder to progress in the game. It’s also difficult to view the entire farm as you cannot zoom out enough to get a better perspective on the structure of the farm. Despite this, this game is exceptional for those who love gardening, productivity, completing orders, decorating and, customising not only their farm, but characters, buildings and animals, to their hearts content. Very well done! ### 2/5 — Carnival bug *2026-03-28, version 2.8.6* I am playing this game and when I got to the part in the carnival level that says gain 1000 social coins I did everything and every possible way to gain social coins and got way more than 1000 but the counter is stuck at 922 coins and the support button doesn’t work in the game. Interactions with visitors are extremely limited. One inconvenience, I have my game set to automatically allow visitors but for some reason I still have to approve them. Although my mom seems to think that shouldn't be true😒. I think that if everyone had this game, there would be world peace forever. I mean I don't actually think that, but that's how much I love it. I only have one issue, and it's that when you try to put fence on your farm, it goes in completely irrational places, even areas where it won't even let you put it in the first place. But after it figures out which direction you are going, it's much better. Das Spiel motiviert, man hat immer etwas zu tun, und insgesamt macht Farmside richtig Laune. Auch die Grafik mit 8 von 10 Sternen ist gelungen: farbenfroh, übersichtlich und liebevoll gestaltet. 🥩 Hauptteil Die Aufgaben sind mit 7 von 10 Sternen solide, allerdings sind einige davon zwar abwechslungsreich, während andere sich nach dem immer gleichen Schema wiederholen. Der Lagerraum ist leider etwas dürftig für die Menge an Waren, die man produzieren kann – hier wäre deutlich mehr Platz wünschenswert. Auch die Verbindung beim Besuch anderer Spieler ist eher schlecht: Teilweise wird eine rote Verbindung angezeigt, obwohl ich keine zwei Meter neben dem Router sitze. Besonders ärgerlich ist der Fehler am Kuhstall, der seit Jahren bekannt ist und immer noch nicht behoben wurde. Hier stellt sich wirklich die Frage, warum daran nichts geändert wird. 🍞 Abschluss Trotz dieser Schwächen bleibt Farmside ein Spiel mit hohem Sucht- und Spaßfaktor. Mit ein paar technischen Verbesserungen und mehr Feinschliff bei Aufgaben und Lagerkapazität könnte das Spiel sein volles Potenzial ausschöpfen. Ich spiele es weiterhin gern und hoffe auf zukünftige Updates. ### 5/5 — Awesome game *2026-01-11, version 2.8.6* I love this game so much! The characters and decorations are so cute and fun. This games brings me peacefulness. Needs only an expansion package including quests, land, more fruits (blueberries) and things to plant. Keep this cool game coming! And why does watering crops and trees take so much more water than before? The in-game link for support does not work. NPC’s will not sit down at the restaurant to order anything they just run back and forth between the train and the restaurant. The guests that used to order a variety of things will now only order bread so there is no point in making anything else. Apparently the monthly fee does not cover tech support. ### 1/5 — Bug nobody can fix *2026-04-07, version 2.8.6* It’s been days now no one seems to know what to do.the restaurant does not accept any customers . The customers arrive and say hello and wave goodbye. The guests front the train station want all the same thing bread. I have chatted with several tech support but till now no solution. They kept saying move the restaurant which i did and still the same. And the restaurant has been here for several mothe so the location is Tony the problesm ### 1/5 — Addictive awesome farm game *2026-03-27, version 2.8.6* I wish this was around when I was throwing money into much less fun farm games. Lovely low pressure sim with room to do much more than anyone has time for. Squee. Update - they have ruined this game, completely given up on it. I assume Arcade must have stopped paying them bc they didn’t just abandon game development, they destroyed the play entirely. Guests only ask for bread now, which means there is no point in growing anything but wheat and cooking anything but bread. This has crashed the farm economy by making nothing sellable or worth buying in the market. It’s an exercise in futile habitual tapping. Game support is nonexistent. It’s not the only game that has stopped progressing but so far it’s the only arcade game where the developers have deliberately broken game play. Arcade needs to drop them or get them back to work. This was one of the main reasons I’ve paid for Arcade and my patience is gone. ### 1/5 — Major glitch jan2026 still not fixed *2026-02-07, version 2.8.6* Sadly,these developer are the reasons people see Apple Arcade as a joke. Developers sell their game and pocket the licensing $$, then spend no more revenue to address tech issues or develop new quests or expand levels. This game has been notified of a major problem that makes the game pointless. Despite video evidence of the issue, including it happening on other players farms, they’ve done nothing. Nor have they expanded game levels (they tried to say they released new levels 90-100, which weren’t new at all, just offering more prizes. for same. And it turned out those games awarded decorations as proves which infected the game so join and to strip them all out to play Please share your experiences so we can get a critical mass of these people to take this seriously ### 1/5 — New quests have major bugs developer isn’t fixing *2026-01-04, version 2.8.6* While I really enjoy this game, there is a major bug in the game as a result of the new quests above level 90. The developer is aware, I have provided logs, video and lots of details. They have done nothing to fix the issue for two weeks. It’s frustrating. This is a game included in app,e arcade. It feels like, because developer isn’t getting $$ from the player for each play, we are not a priority. So frustrating. ### 1/5 — Tech support has failed! *2025-12-19, version 2.8.6* I was hoping with this update my farm would be fixed, but it wasn’t. I sent an email months ago, but tech did nothing to fix it. I can’t move my character around my farm to play the game. It’s just stuck. I have been playing this game since early on. There have been a few glitches in the game that were no big deal, but this keeps me from playing. I have sent another email. We will see what happens. I am also able to create food, have pets, have animals, decorate a beach, sell food that I cook to earn money. And I can visit other players farms and help them out. Even give them energy. They can visit me also and do the same for me. Your inventory is stock pile is not endless so be strategic about that in selling some things to make room but yeah I have loved this game for some years now. It is the first time I have ever spent countless hours enjoying a single game. Sadly, it appears I reached the end with no points of progression, nor any additional quests. I’m disappointed there is no further development being offered. The only attainable items are floor tiles and fencing after level 69 which has made me lose my interest. Thankfully I stumbled on the past events This game has brought me so much inner peace. It’s incredibly relaxing. It offers an unique element I’ve never experienced in other simulator games Please do not abandon the game. I would love to see a farmhouse update, which includes the ability to design the entire interior of the house, along with extra animal choices, land expansions that allow us to build a small town nearby with a store to manage, a library, restaurant, a fishing dock and fairgrounds. There are endless options for Farmside to bring a second edition to life. I love the game design, the task based progression that is not complicated, the dreamy graphics and thoughtful decorations. The interactive pieces are truly magical. I’m not ready to walk away from this beautiful game. It is funny, addictive and a huge time sink, but I enjoy it. The end drags a bit as the levels become a grind, and there is less to spend on. Please make a sequel and keep it microtransaction-free!
