## What is Farwalk?

From your home to someone's. The real distance, walked.

Pick a person or a place — a friend's home, your hometown, a city you miss — and Farwalk measures the real straight-line distance from your door. Every day, the walking distance Apple Health already records moves you along that line. 1 km walked is 1 km closer. No made-up scale, no daily cap.

Your Lock Screen shows how far is left.

WALK WITH SOMEONE
Share a journey with one person and choose how you walk it:
• Meet in the middle — you walk from your end, they walk from theirs
• Side by side — both start at the same place, each walks the whole way
• As a team — your distances add up
You see each other's progress and today's kilometers, and you can send a cheer. Sharing uses your own iCloud — no developer server, no account to create.

HONEST DISTANCE
Farwalk reads your Health walking + running distance directly. It never converts steps with a guessed stride length, so what you see matches Health exactly. Today's walk always counts in full.

PLACES TO ARRIVE AT
Type any address, pick one from Contacts, or choose a destination: world landmarks, natural wonders, great cities, theme parks and dream beaches — grouped by how many days they are at your pace. Pro adds Expeditions (the Moon, the Poles, around the world) and Film Locations.

EVERY JOURNEY BECOMES A BADGE
Each finished journey is a stamp with the distance and the date. Walk the same route again and it counts up. Share a badge as an image. Free or Pro, every badge is kept.

ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN AND HOME SCREEN
Widgets show the journey you're on: distance left, your position on the line, and your partner's.

HOW IT'S PAID FOR
Free walks one journey at a time, any distance, and keeps every badge. Everything else is a one-time purchase — no subscription:
• One more journey — one extra journey at the same time (buy as many as you like)
• Pro — three journeys at once, Expeditions & Film Locations, gold badges, arrival forecast, your own theme colors
• Pro for two — Pro for you and the person you walk with, in one purchase

No ads. No account. Health data never leaves your iPhone.

Requires iOS 17 or later and walking distance in Apple Health. Sharing needs iCloud on both iPhones. Distances in km or miles. City search includes data from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0); destination photos are from Wikimedia Commons (credits in Settings).

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-10-04

Farwalk now speaks Spanish: the app, all 148 destinations and the badges. Small fixes too.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-03

Refreshed store page and small improvements.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-26

Bug fixes. An extra journey slot you bought is never lost — even if the purchase arrives late or you reinstall the app. The arrival screen now shows whenever you finish a journey, even if the finish was first noticed by the widget. Shared journeys no longer come back after you delete them, and walked distance no longer jumps back.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-25

No release notes.
