### 2/5 — Bug in the buy-flow

*2025-03-06*

I’m trying to subscribe via your mobile app, but there’s a bug. I tap “subscribe”, the button turns to orange, but then nothing happens! Please fix so I can subscribe!

### 2/5 — Great content. Horrible app.

*2023-12-14*

I took advantage of their recent sale on a digital subscription. I love FC but the app is horrible. It crashes constantly and there are some pages that are not mobile friendly so I have to zoom in on sections at a time to read. Most media companies offered “reader view” in their apps 5+ years ago?!

### 1/5 — Only received 3 out of 12 issues I purchased

*2022-07-07, version 23.0*

I’m the past 12 months as a subscriber I only received 3 issues. Scammer 🚨

### 1/5 — Takes your money with no content

*2022-03-18*

I first paid for an annual subscription online, which does not sync to the app so I couldn’t read it on my phone. Then I tried to pay for a monthly subscription on my phone, but that does not let you read the actual magazines. So far I have paid twice and have read nothing………

### 2/5 — Using Subscription on multiple platforms impossible

*2022-03-10*

I initially setup my account on the web-based version. When I try to sign-on to the app it states that the email does not exist. I’ve notified through the contact function, but it’s yet to be resolved.

### 1/5 — Intermittent App access even with paid subscription

*2022-01-22, version 23.0*

Often the App does not let me access the content, even after I paid for a subscription.

### 2/5 — Not a Good Look

*2022-01-04*

The Home Screen of the app is a jumbled mess. Despite having both an online and print subscription, it always has a timer telling me I have a minute or two of free reading before I need to subscribe. Even after logging in, it never seems to recognize me as a paying reader. I love the articles, but the app experience is like kindergarten. A shame because, again, I like the articles more than articles from other publications that I pay more for.

### 1/5 — Disconnected experience

*2021-10-09*

I have already paid for a membership but is hard to use the app in different devices or open content from external links.

It always assumes you’re not a subscriber.
The web and app experience are disconnected and apparently it seems like you have separate accounts. What a mess.

### 2/5 — Cannot even read the headlines

*2021-06-05, version 22.0*

Love your content, want to pay for premium, but this is simply a poorly designed app. Cannot even read the headlines because of obnoxious images behind the text with no shadow or dimming on the image.

### 1/5 — Can’t login

*2021-04-05, version 22.0*

Can’t connect to new account

### 1/5 — Can't log in without giving away permission to exploit my privacy.

*2021-04-02*

It's very interesting that I started learning about protecting my digital privacy by reading Fast Company articles. And now I can't use the Fast Company app because I can't log in without giving away rights to my privacy. You taught me to protect myself against predators... like you!
I'm having problems reading articles online, too. I use the Duckduckgo browser (I think I learned about it via fastcompany.com), but no one has gotten back to me about that in a long time. What are you becoming?

### 1/5 — Unbelievably bad

*2020-08-02*

How a company like fast company who prides itself on being a digital innovator would have such a terrible app is shocking.

### 1/5 — Pessimo app / terrible app

*2020-05-19*

Crashes all the time, usability is poor and has lots of bugs

Cai toda hora, usabilidade ruim e cheio de bugs

### 1/5 — Change the app

*2020-01-03*

The new fast company app is not designed with usability in Ming the ability to down load and read without internet connectivity is appalling good content bad deployment

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work 🤦‍♂️

*2019-11-11, version 19.0*

Can’t activate or link to a current subscription. 💩

### 1/5 — Terrible service

*2019-11-10, version 19.0*

I bought the yearly subscription and was never able to access the content. I contacted the developer and they told me to check with the publisher, I contacted the magazine and they told me to check with Apple. Apple is impossible to contact. As a consumer, I don’t really want to waste my time contacting everyone in the product chain. It should be transparent, and Fast Company, a thought leader and innovation beacon should be ashamed for providing a lousy service. Will continue to try to get my money back and will definitely NOT renew.

### 1/5 — Old issues

*2019-11-06*

Não permitem restaurar compras feitas no app antigo.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — How awful you will kill an experience in your reputation

*2026-04-29*

If you plan on viewing this on multiple devices, just decide not to do this right now. Whatever device you have it on that’s your only device that you get to view Fast Company on and if you want to switch devices, you have to go to your Support page click contact us copy paste the information that’s there submit it in an email and then wait for somebody to grant you permission makes me miss the print version and I’m definitely not gonna re-up my subscription this year.

### 1/5 — Can’t Zoom or Full Size on IPAD !!!

*2025-09-24*

I have become accustomed to digital subscriptions over physical mainly because they are easier to read, but this is terrible. Pages don’t scale to full screen as in my other subscriptions as well as the bar remains at the page top. Please do better. The content smells great but you didn’t give me any utensils.

### 1/5 — I paid for a subscription but…

*2023-11-27, version 7.2.2*

The app never remembers my subscription thru my Apple ID and does not allow me to read anything. Very very frustrating. .

### 1/5 — Update please

*2023-06-08, version 7.2.2*

App crashes immediately. Please fix.

### 1/5 — What the? Update

*2023-03-07*

Besides the terrible support (see below), the app is a joke. How do you send articles out weekly, but the app is a glorified PDF of the print magazine. Might be covering fast companies, but your approach to experience is antiquated.

Update: Finally heard from support 3 MONTHS LATER. Fast Company has slow support to say the least. If you get a subscription & wanna use this app, just don’t expect help before you’re well into your subscription. Same issue as others. Signed up for a year digital subscription on the website. Confirmed email & set up account/password. Go to log into the app. Doesn’t recognize my email. Do some digging in help, and apparently you need an account number to access the app. Only problem is no account number is listed in my online profile & none sent via email. So, why aren’t these just connected automatically? I will update my review once I get access, but how is this any way to run your system?

### 1/5 — No funciona aun con el login y la suscripción activa

*2023-01-01, version 23.0*

### 1/5 — Does not work with subscription

*2022-12-03*

There appears to be no way to access issues if you’re a digital subscriber. What’s worse is that there’s no way to send a help message because despite signing in the app tells me I don’t have an email address. Horrible user experience. I have no idea how this has a 4.2 rating when almost all of the reviews are 1 or 2 stars, all seeming to report the same issues.

### 1/5 — Confusing subscription model

*2022-11-13*

Selected the monthly subscription plan. Presumed this would provide access to current and previous magazines. Instead provides access to just one magazine. Feels intentionally confusing and untrustworthy business model. Disappointed

### 1/5 — Can’t sync account

*2022-09-20, version 23.0*

Can’t get the app to recognize credentials set up on web site

Good reading experience..very interactive and like th content flow

### 5/5 — Way to go! *update*

*2016-03-24*

This app continues to impress. I thought I would come through and update my review. I stand by my initial review and have since take to using the Fast Company magazine app as well. This has by far become one of my favorite mediums to consume my reading.

30 minutes in and I love it already. There are few magazines that can publish an app and get it right. Fast Company does not disappoint. This app is quick and responsive. Articles are just "there" and the interface is smooth. I can see me using this on a daily basis to catch up on lots of reading. And I look forward to seeing how subscriptions are integrated into the app as well. Great Job!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2015-04-14*

I really like this app, a daily read with the Picks of the Day as essentials, great graphics and design

### 5/5 — Impressed

*2015-04-01*

Did a Google search to do some research and bumped into this site, articles are concise interesting and well written. Came straight onto the App Store to see if they a have App and I'm glad they do.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2015-02-24, version 1.0*

Fantastic app. Adds even more value to the traditional subscribers. Thanks & congrats

### 5/5 — First impression count....

*2015-02-24*

After a 3 minute play with the new app I'm in. Like everything Fast Company is clean, simple and intuitive. Well done!

### 4/5 — Great but need to imrprove

*2015-04-15, version 1.0.1*

As an entrepreneur, I'm a big fan of FC magazine. In my opinion, this app will create a new trend for reading magazines on your smart phone. It works great most of the time. However, the app is quite slow sometimes. And in some case it didn't update any new stories at all. I had to manually close the app and open it again to reload new stories.

### 3/5 — Miss the prior version app

*2018-09-03*

The new app is slow and each article has to be downloaded separately. No longer reads like a magazine, but now a series of articles, more like having access to a paid news site than a magazine. Had an existing subscription, and forced to extend subscription which was easy to pay for with my finger tip, accessing what I paid for twice is more difficult. Disappointed my time is valuable, worth more to me than the hassle involved with this new app. Love your content, not your new app.
