Un exemple : 24x18. 1) On ajoute l’unité du plus petit nombre au plus grand: 24 + 8 = 32. 2) On multiplie le résultat par 10 : 32 x 10 = 320. 3) On multiplie les unités des deux nombres : 4 x 8 = 32. 4) On ajoute les deux résultats : 320 + 32 = 352. Or, le résultat de 24 x 18 est 432. Où est la faille ?
