## What is Fast Pass for Gala Assist?

This application is a complimentary application for the Gala Assist service.  It is the fastest way to get your guests checked in and on to the event.  Take control of the flow of your event with guest check in, auction item entry, SMS alerts, check out with credit card, cash, or check.  Even print bid sheets from the Gala Assist web dashboard.. We have added dark mode support and updated the icons to match the Gala Assist application icons.

### 1.6 — 2019-02-23

This version is more streamlined.  There is nothing to prevent your volunteers from using the application.  There is no longer any need to log into the application so you do not even need to give your staff or volunteers any login information.  Is your check in line longer then expected?  Easy fix...grab a staff member, download the app, and start checking in your guests extremely quickly!  

Also...we fixed a few bugs.

### 1.5 — 2018-10-06

There are a couple new things in this version of the app.  You can now print a QR login code from your online dashboard that will allow your volunteers to login to the Fast Pass app.  You no longer need to give them your login credentials.  Simply print the code and place it somewhere where your volunteers can scan it.  After the scan it quickly logs them into your account and they are ready to start checking in your guests with a Fast Pass.  Additionally, when a guest that is marked as a VIP checks in the SMS alert is sent in the background.  We also found a couple other small bugs and fixed them!

### 1.1 — 2018-02-22

The user interface has been simplified.  The scanner now takes up the entire screen to make scanning your QR codes even easier.  There is also no need to log in anymore so we have removed it from the application.  Of course we have fixed as many bugs as we could find.  Happy scanning!
