At some point recently, the app stopped working, so I updated it just to realize there is now a subscription plan. I understand the devs need to make money, and I would’ve been fine with like a $5 charge to get all the features, but really, I am not interested in paying monthly for a rhyming dictionary. So many apps are just shoehorning in subscription plans for services that really don’t require it and I’m sad this one jumped on that bandwagon. **Developer response:** Hi! We are sorry to hear that you feel this way. Our goal has been to keep the basic features free, and not charge anything for any key feature that has been free, and this is still the case. You can still use the app without a subscription. To answer your questions, a one time fee is not sustainable to keep the app running in the long run. We also have plans for further development, and we need some sort of revenue from the app to make it sustainable. Ads is probably the last thing you’d want. To stay away from that we took this route. We are very excited for the features we can bring you with this opportunity. ### 2/5 — Paywall *2021-04-16* I’ve been using this for a while, and you took all the great features I’ve come to love and locked them behind a paywalled subscription. I’ll be finding a new app. **Developer response:** Hey, we are sad to hear that! To keep the project alive it was a necessary step to monetize it somehow. However we have kept the core functionality free, and given users who want to support the project some extra features. I hope this is understandable, if not we hope you find a great alternative. ### 2/5 — It’s ok... *2020-12-08* I got the app, In hope to help me write my songs and poems. It has helped me soooo much. Honestly the app is amazing. It’s simple and understandable but...I have so many problems with typing. I try and type a word to get rhymes for but the keyboard on the app always glitches, types and deletes letters...EVERY TIME I USE IT. It gets very annoying at times lol but I’ve learned to get along with it. I do hope you could fix this issues to make this app sharp and simple to use again.
