It lives up to the first line in the description-no frills, easy to use, fast and offline. I've had this app for a couple of years, and I teach the bible. I go to places which have no internet or phone service. I need offline. For most things, I prefer simplicity over complexity. I had one bible app that was great. It opened quickly and didn't have too many functions, but the ones it had worked well. Then they upgraded it and now is slow and clumsy.  and requires internet for many of the functions. Well, Fast bible app is still simple and fast, which is what I need most of the time.

IVe been looking for a simple app that just let's me read the word and doesn't get in the way, this meets  my 'needs  perfectly. I only wish  there were more translations, I would be willing to pay for more as in-app purchases

I have loved this app for many years but am highly disappointed because somehow it doesn't let me copy individual verses so I can paste them into a text message.  I have even deleted it and re-subscribed to see if I can do that.  But no...still can't select and copy simple verses.  Sad

This is my go to for devotions. Easy to use menu, and the specific verse is highlighted along with the remaining verses in the chapter. 
You can copy and paste the verse into your research work, as opposed to the internet sites where a copy/paste provides you the url address. 
Would be willing to pay for other versions (NIV), to stay on this platform.

A very simple product. Does exactly what it says. Quick and exact. I wish it offered more options but that would be a different app. My only complaint is the icon shapes are not clear and if I have not used one in a while I have to guess as to what it does.

I have used this app for years. I am a missionary and often need to come up with a message quickly. This app is offline, so I don’t need internet. I also works fast, which is important. They have kept it simple so it is fast and clean. You can also copy and paste from it, which some don’t allow or you have to go through steps to do it.  King James only, which is fine with me. I grew up on King James, but if you didn’t it may present a challenge in finding the verse you want. Overall, great app!

I do real time live interpretation of sermons from Spanish to English and this app is my constant trusty companion. If I do not find the bible text that the pastor is quoting in his sermon quickly, I fall behind and my listeners miss content of the sermon. This app helps me keep pace and deliver the full content to my listeners. I love the history feature that lets me quickly jump back to a previously viewed text.  The concordance is very useful for my personal bible study also. The feature that shows all the verses associated with a particular event all together is also great. The only thing that it is missing for me is that it does not offer New King James Version of the Bible ( my favorite). Only the King James Version is available. But overall an excellent app.

I just came from being on Android for many years and my main complaint on iOS is that "My Sword" app doesn't exist for iPhone 🙁 I've downloaded a bunch of bible apps that just don't cut it. It seems that I'm using 3-4 different bible apps to study the Bible as I did on My Sword app. One of my main complaints is that they all have to many steps to get to what you want. FastBible is definitely gonna be my go to from what I see. It doesn't have the many study tools I used on My Sword but because it's offline and fast to do what it's limited to do, I see myself on this app a whole lot. 

If I can make any requests, NIV version 🙏🏼

Use it all the time when I am trying to remember a verse. Just need to know a word from the verse and all the results pop it immediately. Awesome search engine indeed!

I’m pretty much a simpleton user.  This is my church Bible, loaded on my iPhone.  I use it because of its quick access to verses during a sermon or in home study.  There are features I just don’t use and probably don’t even know they are there.  This is an easy app to use, and I like the KJV.   I love this app.

Perfect for finding a quick verse to share. Sometimes the copy function doesn't appear until the second try of highlighting a verse. Maybe an iOS bug, or is it this app? 
Otherwise, it's perfect for finding verses quickly and not getting bogged down while opening like some of the more weighed-down Bible apps. 👍👍 4 stars because of the copying problem, but again...perhaps that's not just in this app???  

I'm updating my review based on the most recent update and upping to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! 
It turns out the copying bug WAS the fault of iOS not this app. So that's fixed! 

BUT....the best fix (7/17) is that now only the side arrows at the bottom scroll to the adjacent chapters!  It used to be that you couldn't even touch the screen on the sides, or you'd accidentally switch chapters. THANK YOU FOR FIXING THIS!!!!!
I hope they keep updating this app and keeping it simple. If it becomes filled with options and extras, it won't live up to its name.  This is the app I use most when I need to find a verse, copy and paste a verse to someone, and now read!! (I used to not read from it too much because of the accidental scrolling but now that's fixed!).
