Was a great app, BUT abandoned by developers. Maybe time for Apple to kill this app whilst it still has some dignity. No new NR or Elizabeth line details added as no updates in 3 years RIP. ### 3/5 — Good app for running times *2025-03-14, version 1.6.0* Nice app for displaying running times and platforms to help plan your journey. Only minor issue is the app is not very stable and does randomly crash for no reason so you have to keep re-opening it. ### 3/5 — Crashes constantly *2024-10-17, version 1.6.0* When it works, it’s fantastic. Instant updates for services at stations, bookmark what you like, check for specific services going to specific stations and so on. The problem is that it crashes constantly. In fact it’s now broken completely and I can’t start it whatsoever. But there are cases when you can search for an update and it says lack of internet access or out of date information. Also some trains are not necessarily updated in the app when late which would be useful. ### 4/5 — Make text bigger *2020-01-06, version 1.4.0* The app works very well most of the time. The only thing I noticed is the ability to change text size is missing. People on the go need the ability to peek in quickly as let’s face it the trains are not exactly punctual and majority of the populace use it to track that element along with which platform to board the train from. So get a few stories in the next iteration and let’s get a five star on this app as acceptance criteria 😀👍 ### 5/5 — The best *2023-08-24, version 1.5.2* This app is really good, really efficient, only 4MB download. The UI is clean and responds quickly, many of the other train apps are quite bloated in comparison. The only feature I’d love to see in the future is the ability to click through to a station from the view that shows all the stations a service is stopping at. Other than that, it’s perfect ### 5/5 — Simple and effective *2021-12-27, version 1.5.2* This is a simple and great app. As rail staff. It’s useful for on the fly direct trains. Recommend this. My only snag is the info at the top when on a station displays html and is none collapsible, meaning, like today, 27december with lots of cancellations and issues, you can only see 2 departures in the list. This isn’t a problem on non iOS devices though. ## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Nice simple app with a small footprint *2021-08-22, version 1.5.2* I have a couple of suggestions: When you have chosen trains between two stations a “reverse direction” button would be nice. One flaw is that the train list is always in departure time order. For trains between A & B you don’t see the journey time and you can’t switch to ‘arrival at destination’ order. I used to use the UK Train Times app for this until it recently stopped working properly, so it's a relief to have found this app that does the same job very well.
