## What is Fastlane Melbourne?

Fastlane Melbourne is the official app for one of Melbourne's biggest car communities. Built for the street — everything the club runs now lives in your pocket.

MEETS & CRUISES
See every upcoming meet, RSVP in one tap, get directions, add events to your calendar and watch the live countdown to the next one. Last-minute night runs included. Paid members also get the club's members-only meets.

CLUB NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
Announcements, event wraps and partner updates straight from the crew, with an unread badge so you never miss a call-out.

MEMBERSHIP
Check your membership status and expiry, and request annual club membership from your profile. Membership is a real-world club arrangement — dues are settled directly with the crew in person, not in the app.

POINTS & REWARDS
Scan the QR code at any meet to earn club points. Climb the crew leaderboard and redeem points for official Fastlane merch. Paid members earn bonus points on every scan.

PARTNERS & OFFERS
A directory of garages, workshops and restaurants across Melbourne. Claim a member offer to get a redemption code, then show it in store. Running a business? Apply to become a Fastlane partner straight from the app.

CREW CHAT
Topic-based chat rooms for builds, meets and everything in between. Long-press any message to report it, and block members you don't want to hear from.

MARKETPLACE
Buy and sell parts and merch within the club — list an item in seconds and sort it out in person at the next meet.

The app is free to download and use. Melbourne based, street focused. Wear it loud. Run it hard.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2.1 — 2026-10-01

Admin approval for new accounts.

• New signups now wait for a club admin to approve them before they can log in, which keeps fake accounts out of crew chat and the member list.
• Admins get an APPROVE button and an "Awaiting approval" filter in the Members list, plus a badge showing how many people are waiting.
• Someone waiting on approval is now told so plainly when they sign up or log in, instead of seeing an error.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-24

Fixes from the last round of tester feedback, plus merch pre-orders.

• Pre-order club merch from the Market tab and collect it at a meet. An admin confirms each order.
• Partner member discounts are now only readable by paid members, not just hidden.
• Admin console: seller requests now load, website join applications can be rejected, and members can be removed (with confirmation).
• Stability fixes in the admin console.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-09-18

Tester feedback round — thanks to everyone who sent notes.

• Partner discounts are now a paid-member benefit. Paid members see the offer and the code; free members see what they'd unlock by joining.
• Photos on marketplace listings.
• Selling is now approved by the club — apply from the Market tab and an admin sets your account up. Everything listed is checked before it goes on the board.
• Password reset now works end to end. Tapping the link in your email opens the app and lets you choose a new password.
• Admins can set a membership's length and record what was paid, and can update the club's contact details from inside the app.
• Fixes to signup emails.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-15
