I started using the app back in Feb 2024 and there were some annoying things about it. I revisited the app a month ago and was pleasantly surprised that all of the things that bothered me were fixed. I have been using it regularly since. 

The team is very focused on good UX and it shows.

Right since inception, the development team have been laser focused on just one use case. Recording live poker hands for review after the fact. 

And they nailed it.

I’ve tried many different hand note systems and this has been the best so far. Even when it was geared solely at cash games, I still found it the most helpful app as a tourney-only player. Now that it has tournament mode, it is even better. I’ve tried simple note templates in the iPhone notes app along with many other iPhone apps for poker hand logging. And nothing beats Fastroll. 

I just spent three days at the WSOP (my fifth annual trip) and I logged MANY more hand notes than I ever have before because of how easy it was. This, in turn, has helped me improve my game because it is easier than ever to simply export hands from the app in a structured format for sharing with study groups. 

Plus, the Fastroll team is great about taking input from users about potential feature ideas and improvements and quickly turning them around into fully working features. 

I’m really glad I stumbled upon this app, and I hope every serious poker player finds it and gives it a try.

Having a hard time figuring out how under any way this is better than just using a notepad? Will happily change my review if I can be convinced otherwise. If not I’d recommend others don’t waste the time/effort that I did.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the honest feedback! The real value comes from having all your hands in one searchable place instead of scattered across different notes or apps.

You can pull up all the bluffs you ran from last week, or see how you are performing in a certain spot without flipping through pages. We're working on more advanced features, but even the basic database beats an unorganized system of random notes. Studying your database is a core tenet of improving online, and the idea is to bring that power to live poker players.

That said, if basic notes work for you, no worries at all. We appreciate you giving it a shot, the feedback helps us improve.

Takes my hand analysis spreadsheet and puts it in my pocket so I can be on top of it always. Subscription is worth it IMO as you get those extra features to improve decision making and reflect on performance better each game
