## What is FastShared?

Share anything. Get a link. Watch it vanish.

FastShared is a native Apple utility that turns "share a file" into "get a temporary link on my clipboard" in one gesture. Every link is temporary by design: default 24 hours, custom up to 30 days. When the window closes, the underlying file is deleted automatically.

WHAT IT DOES
- Share any file from any app through the iOS share sheet.
- Drag a file onto the Mac app, or paste anything with Command-V.
- Pick how long the link lives: 60 seconds, 1 hour, 24 hours, 1 week, 1 month, or custom from 5 minutes to 30 days.
- The short link lands on your clipboard. Paste it anywhere.
- Watch upload progress in a Live Activity and Dynamic Island on supported iPhones.
- Browse recent links with a live countdown. Revoke any link instantly.

YOUR FILES, YOUR RULES
- Ephemeral by design. Every link has an expiry. Expired links return 410 Gone and the file is deleted.
- No required accounts. There is no sign-up, email, or password for Free.
- No tracking. No analytics SDKs, no advertising IDs, no third-party trackers.
- Private storage. Files live in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket. Downloads are served only after the link is validated.
- Bearer links with high-entropy tokens. The link is the credential. Revoke any time.
- noindex, no-referrer, no-store on every resolve so tokens stay out of search engines, referrer chains, and caches.

The recipient never signs in. They open the link in any browser or messaging preview, and the file downloads through FastShared after the link state is checked. When the window ends, the link stops working for everyone at once.

What's new in 1.1.0

• Know when your link is opened. On iPhone and iPad, FastShared notifies you every time someone views a link you shared — not just the first time. Don't want it for a particular link? Switch it off in the share sheet before you send.
• The share sheet got a fresh coat of paint: its colors now follow the rest of the app in both light and dark, and on iPhone and iPad it fills the screen.
• On Mac, Settings opens from the menu bar at a usable size and stops collapsing when you resize it.

As always: share anything from any app, choose how long the link lives, and the short URL is on your clipboard before the upload even finishes. Every file is temporary on purpose — links expire on schedule and the media is deleted automatically.
