## What is Fastum?

Fastum is a fasting tracker for people who already know why they're fasting.

Simple, straight to the point, and quietly beautiful. Choose your fast, start
it in one tap, and let it run — while Fastum keeps the time, tracks your meals
and water, and shows you exactly what your body is doing along the way.

WHY PEOPLE CHOOSE FASTUM

• No sign-up to begin. Answer three questions and your timer is running.
Create a free account when you want your history backed up — or when you
start logging water, weight and meals, which is what it's for.
• Start in one tap. Open Fast counts up with no goal. Timed Fast counts down to
a length you choose, with presets like 16:8 — or any number of hours you want.
• See what your body is actually doing. Settling, fat-burning, ketosis,
autophagy — each stage arrives with a quiet notification, even when the app
  is closed.
• Never lose your place. Your fast keeps running in the background, sits on
your lock screen, and follows your account to a new phone.
• Fix the start time. Began at 4pm and only opened the app at 6? Move the start
time instead of restarting the fast.
• Track water and weight free with your account. Meals, macros, barcode
scanning, custom and extended fasts, nutrition trends, the streak calendar
and the widget are part of Fastum Pro.
• Apple Health, both ways. Fastum reads your weight, sleep, heart rate and
activity, and writes back the weight and water you log.
• Yours everywhere. A free account syncs your last week of fasts across devices
  — sign in with Apple or an email address. Pro keeps every fast you have ever
  logged.
• Light and dark, and genuinely nice to look at.

GREAT FOR

• Your first honest 16:8
• Pushing past 24 hours with something watching the clock for you
• Getting back on track after a week that got away from you
• Anyone who wants the data without the noise

START WITH A FREE WEEK

The yearly plan begins with a 7-day free trial, and everything opens up —
custom protocols, extended fasts, food logging, the body-stage diagram,
trends, the widget. Live in the full version for a week, then decide. If
notifications are on we'll remind you before it ends, and cancelling is a few
taps in Settings.

Fasting itself is free for as long as you like: Open Fast, Timed Fast with
presets, your last 7 days of history, and our Learn library.

FASTUM PRO

• Custom Fast — build a repeating sequence of fast and eating windows that fits
your week, not someone else's template.
• Pro Fast — extended fasts from 24 hours to a week, with stage-by-stage
guidance and a proper refeeding plan for coming out of it.
• Food logging — search, barcode scan and macros, so your fasting and your
eating finally live in one app.
• A live body-stage diagram, nutrition trends, streak calendar, share cards,
  and a home-screen widget.

Fastum Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. The yearly
plan starts with a 7-day free trial; the monthly plan begins right away. Cancel
anytime in your App Store account settings.
$7.99/month, or $49.99/year with the first 7 days free.

BEFORE YOU START

Fastum is a wellness tool, not medical advice. Fasting — especially beyond 24
hours — carries real risks. Please talk to your doctor first, particularly if
you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication, or live with a health
condition.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-20

Signing out no longer costs you anything.

Your fasts stay readable on this phone, the app keeps working, and everything
comes back the moment you sign in again. It used to drop you into the setup
questions as though you were a stranger.

Also in this update:

• Restore purchases moved somewhere you can find it. It sits in the Me tab now,
so getting a subscription back after a reinstall doesn't mean hunting through
  a sales screen first.

• Deleting your account now disconnects Sign in with Apple too. Before, the app
stayed listed on your Apple Account long after your data was gone.

• Clearer prices. The annual plan shows what you'll actually be charged, with
the per-month equivalent underneath, and what a free account is for is stated
before you buy rather than after.

• We ask about an account less. Twice per feature, then we stop — and asking
never leaves a button that quietly does nothing.

• Light and Dark work properly again. If your appearance is set to System, the
app now follows your phone instead of quietly staying dark every time you
  opened it.

• Editing when a fast started is smooth. The picker no longer jumps over the
timer as it opens, and scrolling it doesn't fight you.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-12

Start fasting straight away — no account needed.

Fastum now opens all the way up without signing in. Answer three questions and
your timer is running. Create an account later, whenever you actually want your
history backed up — everything you logged comes with you.

Also in this update:

• Your weight log is yours to correct. Fix a number you mistyped, delete a
weigh-in that never should have been there, and set the starting weight your
progress is measured from — so the trend line tells the truth.

• Logging water finally behaves. Pick ¼, ½, ¾ or a full glass and the + and −
move by that much, or spin the wheel straight to the number you drank.

• Apple Health readings arrive on their own. Weigh in on a smart scale in the
morning and it's waiting for you when you open the app.

• Tap a fasting stage and it opens where you can read it, instead of sliding
  under the diagram.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-11

Faster, and more honest about money.

• The free trial is now shown only to accounts that can actually claim it.
• Your subscription keeps working with no connection — no more losing Pro on a plane.
• Fasting history is saved on your phone, so your fasts and stats are there offline.
• A fast you stop without signal stays in your history instead of disappearing.
• Fixed a rare case where the same fast could be logged twice.
• Added a Manage Subscription shortcut, and tidied up a few labels.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-05
