And doesn’t take as long as the other apps to get your money or whatever reward you want ### 1/5 — Do not trust *2023-03-10, version 1.6.3* Very dishonest site. They offered additional cashback for ten clicks on their products/deals per day but do not tell you that if you happen to click on more offers than ten they consider it spam and will deactivate your account and not honor any cash back! ### 1/5 — Total scam / fake reviews *2023-02-27, version 1.6.3* This application is a total scam! They do not allow you to cash out your rewards until you have $50 accumulated. I finally accumulated enough points for a $50 game stop gift card. The reward also does not post until 5 to 7 days (huge red flag). My request was rejected and I lost all but 12,000 points. This application needs to be removed from the App Store immediately and avoid their website at all costs. This app finds coupons for you without spending any time manually searching for yourself and has tons of opportunities to earn cash back. I have referred this app to several people and will continue to do so. ### 1/5 — **BEWARE— Fat Coupon is a Big Fat FRAUD / a total CON *2023-02-05, version 1.6.3* These people are CHEATS. They are LIARS. They keep the money and pass on NONE of it to the customer, like they dubiously claim. Never in my life have written a review for anything, no matter how bad, but I’d feel guilty not informing others that this operation is run by crooks, and that they should take their business to reliable sites like Rakuten or TopCashBack if they are expecting a payout from the goods or services they buy. A word of Advice, read their terms and conditions, by signing up, you absolve them of any wrongdoing, no matter how bad they screw you. Rakuten does not do this. They also have a provision stating that they reserve the right to MODIFY THE AMOUNT OF CASH BACK YOU RECEIVE, or just COMPLETELY ERASE IT, after your purchase has already been made, for whatever reason they see fit. How convenient. So if you choose to go through them for a purchase, and they advertise say 8% back, they can change it, at their own will, to say 1% without any explanation… Their terms and conditions list is over 7,000 words long! Top Cash back, on the other hand, a service with over 10X the more positive reviews, has only 3,000 in theirs… I purchased $900 concert tickets though Fat Coupon and figured that I’d get some Cash back considering the high cost I was planning on paying. I saw they had 4% Cashback at Stubhub, which they doubled to 8% if you were a first time user, which I was. I could have gone elsewhere, I’d already used Top Cash back at Stubhub, and never had any issue. But I went with Fat because of the extra bonus. So after purchasing the $900+ tickets through them, I was set to receive $80, pretty good. Within a week the purchase was approved by them. 7 months (!) later, I remember the $80 I was owed, so I went on their website and see that it’s still approved, I just haven’t been paid, despite them saying they pay you within 7 days, it’s been 7 months! I never received a single notification of the reason for the delay, so I email them and am told that they’re waiting on payment from Stubhub, but they inform me that by completely their DAILY check ins and tasks, I can receive a $10 gift card. Yippee! I’m owed $80, I’m not wasting anymore time with them, especially for $10. So I email them again and am then told “If the merchant (Stubhub) cannot correctly attribute the orders to us, we will not be paid by the merchant, and we cannot pass the cash back to our users.” Excuse me? My transactional relationship is with Fat Coupon, not Stubhub. The best part is that you’d think that since Stubhub hasn’t fulfilled their obligation and payment to Fat Coupon, fthat they’d stop doing business with then, right? WRONG! Stubhub is currently listed front page and center on their website and app. So, Fat Coupon just decided that they didn’t like the fact that I earned as much as $80 in a single transaction, so they just simply cancelled it. They are FRAUDS, LIARS, CHEATS, CONMEN. STAY AWAY! ### 5/5 — Great app *2023-01-02, version 1.6.2* FC has saved me money on products that I was going to buy anyway so why not capitalize on the savings. Despite them taking forever to distribute payable coins, the rewards seemed worth it. Surely, I could wait for a payout if it was large enough. So what if they didn’t always track the free coins that they offered. Then the problems began. I started to notice that the approved coins didn’t add up. They claimed I had $8.04 in approved coins, but my transaction history added up to $15.32. This extra money would’ve allowed me to redeem my coins for any $50 gift card. I had already been skeptical that their math wasn’t adding up. So I went to sign into my account on the app, and the app just completely shuts down. I try to access the website, and they block me. I try to sign in under incognito mode, and they tell me my account is inactive. Funny thing is that they still tracked my shopping trips regardless. So, I sign up under another email because THE ONLY WAY TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BY SIGNING INTO MY ACCOUNT! Customer service is practically nonexistent. Here’s what they sent me: “Hi there, The account is inactive because of the violation of terms and conditions. Thank you” No explanation. I asked them multiple times, and they have refused to contact me. Do not waste your time with this website. Topcashback, Inboxdollars, Retailmenot are all far better. While it is definitely possible to reach the minimum redemption threshold, good luck actually cashing out. The company is known to ban users at their will for violating their TOS with no further explanation (a quick google search will show you the issues other users have had). Their subreddit is incredibly disingenuous as there is no way to post or interact with other FatCoupon members. It is tightly moderated and it solely exists so the same account can promote the stores featured on the service, just incredibly suspicious. There are several other reputable cashback services available, just stay far away from this one. You have been warned. ### 1/5 — Stay away. I only have one account and customer service is not reachable. Also most of the time they don’t honor the cash backs. I will not recommend this to anyone. They have great offers with various Fortune 500 companies and they also offer unique and creative ways to add to your cash rebates. Overall, I found the app to be user friendly and the customer service is impeccable. The one thing that separates mediocre reward/cash back companies from great reward/cash back companies is CUSTOMER SERVICE. Customer Service is the #1 key to your success. And often the task is simple earning money by how clicking on things on certain websites. Usually .01/.02 a click but if you do all the tasks it does add up.
