They would send you orders outside of your zone. I keep on declining them, and now my AR is low now. I'm about 2m in and I mean I'm able to have gas but with a car that ain't to much in yearly it's more a gamble, the verification on add/changing your money card shouldn't take 3 days. ### 2/5 — Why *2026-08-22, version 6.45.0* There should be consideration for some cities where they want to send you on a seven dollar trip that’s 15 miles total drive to get back to your neighborhood after you’re finished. Does not matter if I got elite status they would still send me BS orders, which will mess up my elite status. They did not hold true to their word. They should stick to H-E-B pharmacy and H-E-B orders the restaurant orders are BS. Let DoorDash handle that. ### 4/5 — Favor Runner/Driver *2026-08-21, version 6.45.0* If you only like shopping HEB and drop off!.. it’s Perfect for that!! it’s has other delivery options that I guess HEB has turned off… 2 months and 60+ deliveries has my proof! ### 2/5 — On-time rate *2026-08-06, version 6.44.1* U should quit this if u are not going to recognize traffic or delays on behalf of restaurants, since I was seeing my rating, I have 5 orders that are not in time because of it, so, what’s the point of it? ### 2/5 — Better than DoorDash…barely *2026-07-31, version 6.43.1* Favor is better than DoorDash, but only barely, since they don’t punish you as harshly as DoorDash for declining trash, low pay high mileage orders, but there’s just as many of those types of orders offered by Favor. The pay structure of all of these apps is criminal, $2 base pay and whatever tips the customer sees fit to provide. Here’s an example of an order I completed yesterday, $9.40 ($2.00 base pay, $7.40 tip)for a 54 item shop and deliver that’s 7 miles away and takes an hour to complete. This is not an outlier, it’s the norm. If you’re not very careful you’ll be working for less than minimum wage to shop and deliver someone’s groceries using your vehicle and your gas. Promo pay only seems to be available on Sunday afternoons, which is where you can actually expect to be compensated fairly, the rest of the week are low pay, high item count, 3rd floor apartment bottled water deliveries. HEB needs to do better, this isn’t a good look for a company that wants to have the image of an ethical Texan business. You’re taking advantage of desperate Texans who can’t find work in this economy, to service lazy, entitled customers who want to have their groceries delivered to their door at no extra cost to them. Expect to deliver to million dollar homes and to have to listen to complaints that the service is too expensive, when the pay barely covers your gas expenses. That’s why you’ve cut back on your in house delivery drivers and expect that Favor drivers can fill the gap. There’s always some poor schmuck that’s desperate enough to work for peanuts to try to cover their bills, so it’s a win for HEB. If you have any other options for work, take them over these predatory apps. ### 2/5 — It’s good if you want stay busy *2026-07-29, version 6.43.1* Yeah, I’ve been running the Favor app for a while, and I will say that sometimes the money can be pretty good. But a lot of the time, especially with the H-E-B runs, the pay just doesn’t seem worth the amount of work involved. For example, I recently had an order with 105 items, and I only got paid $13. When you factor in the time, effort, and size of some of these orders, the compensation often doesn’t match the workload. Overall, Favor isn’t a bad app, but in my experience, it just doesn’t pay that great for the amount of work you sometimes have to do. ### 2/5 — Favor runner *2026-07-27, version 6.43.1* Favor is a very unfair platform ### 3/5 — Are bonuses and promos worth it? *2026-07-27, version 6.43.1* From my experience running the last couple years it seems like when there is a bonus or a promo the cost of the delivery is adjusted to keep you around the same amount as if there wasn’t a bonus or promo going on at all. Example I run a 65 piece shop and deliver without a promo and I make typically between 19 and $25. Today I ran a 65 piece shop and deliver with a four dollar bonus in the area yet the cost for the delivery was $15. If you add the four dollar bonus you get a $19 delivery.. This has happened more than just today. I’m just curious if these bonuses are actually bonuses or if they’re just blind bait to make people think they’re going to make more money. That being said I do like running favors, but it just seems that it can be a little dishonest sometimes. ### 3/5 — The app *2026-07-24, version 6.43.1* I was logging for two hours and nothing ever popped up, but I keep having issues with the app. It just freezes and spins, and this will be my fifth time having to uninstall it and reinstall it. ### 4/5 — Suggestion Please *2026-07-20, version 6.42.1* I wish there were toggle switching of WHICH stores you wanted to run from in each zone. Seems doable, no? Annoying to be IN your preferred store and you get offers from other stores. I have had to unassign for that. Ooops. Also, would be helpful to really explain “total distance” in your FAQ section. I’ve had to contact H-E-B three separate times just to get the right answer. It seems a lot harder than it should be. You’re welcome!) ### 3/5 — New promos 👎 *2026-07-19, version 6.42.1* Haaaaaaaate the new promos where you have to do 8 orders to be able to make $165. Please go back to the old way per order. there’s no way to complete all 18 deliveries for promos in less than 12hrs. I actually love favor and this makes me not look forward to promos feels like a regular week day. Wish I could say worse but I love yall. ### 1/5 — Pay *2026-07-18, version 6.42.1* Yall expect the runners to shop and deliver and the items and the pay is low ball. For example a $18.90 delivery and shopping for over a 100 items isn’t fair and with the gas price and our time should be more than that. They got rid of H-E-B curbside, so now it's mostly shopping in-store and delivering. The pay is low, and the mileage you put on your car isn't worth the small tips. It was much better from 2020-2024. Now it feels like the focus is more on making money than taking care of the drivers. Base pay is only two dollars and they don’t provide mileage pay, heavy pay, or increased pay for multiple items. So you can be shopping 200 items going 20 miles and Favor still only pays two dollars. There’s also multiple scammers at stores during multiple times doing multiple batches. Photographic proof with name details has been sent to Favor to report these issues, but the scammer still stay doing multiple orders at a time. They will shop one order then park the shopping cart near the bathroom and then do another order. The H-E-B employees are aware and say there’s nothing that they can do. Favor has the opportunity to be a great app, but like all the other companies seems to choose profits over its drivers. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — I love Being A Favor Runner *2026-08-27, version 6.45.0* How Favor make sure Driver accounts are safe! Other apps cant compare! I had security issues on other apps and lost accounts that were excellent that are still pending! Just wanted to make $ again after being a caregiver for my mother months in a rural area on her income and she passed and I lost everything! Tried financial to handle before her passing. She was 24hour care. Therefore, favor allowed me to recover account and begin to make $ again to get on my feet. Obviously, there security to your information is secure! That’s just my opinion though. Time efficient and it’s only a $.99 fee to get paid instantly unless you wanna wait until it deposit for free. I realized my potential many times that I could not give up because ppl show appreciation for small things like getting the groceries for them. Favor has been there for me on bad days when I could not go to the store myself during times of no transportation. Overall the fact that HEB owns Favor says a lot.
