Its 2019 and you’re still not mobile first? ### 1/5 — Avoid! *2017-10-23* Access to my data was removed without my knowledge and attempts to recover through support channels were slow and they didn’t seem at all interested in finding a solution. ### 2/5 — Mobile App Chugs *2017-10-09* I love Favro for organizing work and personal tasks, but the mobile app is abysmal. It takes forever to load and there’s been no improvement in that area over several updates. Principally, lack of all-Collection view is a notable drawback since this is pretty much Favro's USP. They make sheet rows into two lines, which makes them unreadable, and to edit any value you have to open the row as a poorly laid out full screen interface, then scroll to and tap in the field a second time. Please put more thought into the usability of the mobile layout. ### 1/5 — As bad as Safari browser experience *2021-07-01* I downloaded the iPad app expecting it to work better than their web version does in Safari but it suffers from most of the same UI issues and is unusable. Pop up menus won’t close, sub panes can’t be resized, and even worse than the website - there’s no way to refresh the page to reset the UI. Since the last app update was a year ago, it appears they’ve abandoned the effort. Not a good look for a hungry company trying to establish itself in the market! ### 1/5 — Bugs *2021-02-10* 1.Scroll down in the sprints view doesn’t work so you cannot see all your task. 2. Ejem you change from collection it shows you cards from other collection . You need close the app and open again. 3. The backlog is unusable as it doesn’t allows you to see sub cards. 4. I do love your desktop program but if it’s impossible to use your app, then I can’t retrieve the info on the fly and it’s useless. Please please please tell me why you would have a bad app that is unusable this day and age and with all the marketing efforts!!!! Am I missing something???? ### 1/5 — ipad app crashes *2020-05-26* Impossible to download images from comment to IOS photos album, the app just crashes. This is a bug the developers should be able to reproduce easily. ### 1/5 — iPad and iPhone apps are unusable *2020-03-19* The Favro website is good. Overall I find the Favro service too complex. Trello is much more straight forward. Jira and MS Teams are more feature rich. Coda and Monday have similar services and better mobile apps. The main features I find missing are personal dashboards and custom personal views of Boards and Backlogs. Specifically the mobile apps are busted, unorganized, and poorly maintained. If you’re in a meeting you’ll need a laptop to triage. Right now there is a bug where menus don’t close. You need to force quit the app to regain control. I’ve been checking back on the mobile apps for over a year and there have been changes but no improvements. ### 1/5 — Logins are broken, fix your app please *2019-07-15* Not being able to rely on your app to access our team's boards on the go is a big inconvenience. For what we pay for, your app should be able to handle logging in without opening an external browser window and then failing to transfer a successful login back to it. Please fix it already. ### 1/5 — Garbo *2019-01-23* This is actual garbage, you have to go on your desktop or laptop in order to access the app. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t open *2018-11-22* The app login redirects to the browser and in the browser suggests to open the app, that although it is already installed, the link goes to the Apple store. This app is kind of like them both combined. So far pretty cool. I like that it lets you break off into a new tab so you can focus on one thing if you want. Live the free forever plan since I work alone a lot, and they seem to have the enterprise thing on lock. Only issue at the moment is on the mobile App when I create a new card the keyboard obscures where you type. When entering a card from a board the ‘back’ button does not work . There is no way of getting back to your board other than restarting the app. In fact done of the menu options at the top of screen respond at all! ### 3/5 — So close.... *2021-01-28* I use Favro for personal planning, since I am able to stack timelines of varying length to allow me to easily plan from long-term to weekly tasks. I mostly use the browser version , which has a great user interface and looks great in NightEye’s dark mode in Chrome. That being said, the inability to touch the timeline and create a new task is frustrating. I have to pre-stage blank tasks, and if I forget to do that, I am writing things down and adding them to the timeline later. Additionally, would be great to see it have its own native dark mode, so that I can use all the colors for my timelines, and the text doesn’t get washed out. ### 3/5 — Not bad, but needs ui changes *2020-11-30, version 1.25* Firstly, it’s usable. Which is awesome. But really, it’s UI on the iPad is poor. Favro does not allow for natural touch interaction, meaning when you think you can pan or scroll, you can’t. Examples: 1. it’s really easy to drag cards around when you think you’re panning or swiping. Which really messes things up when you have a board that is full of tasks that have been placed in their correct categories. If you’re on a project and you’d this, it can get you in trouble by the planners and project leads. (Adding a touch and hold gesture to this would help, when you hold you can move a card, otherwise if you’re not holding, you can pan or scroll). 2. It’s a nightmare trying to find the scrollbars so you can move up and down in the collections panel. (Thicken up the scrollbars or by changing the touch and hold should fix it) ### 3/5 — Not comparable to the desktop version. *2019-03-26, version 1.22* This app is lacking. It’s too different from the desktop web version. I can’t move cards in with other indented cards, I can’t change names of collections, when entering a collection all backlogs & boards are sorted alphabetically instead of how they were arranged on the desktop. You can’t view much simultaneously, opening a nested backlog opens in a new view instead of just displaying a dropdown. It’s just really not very intuitive. Please work on mobile functionality! It desperately needs it! ### 3/5 — iPad, iPhone version slow to open *2016-11-06* Absolutely love this product when using it on my Mac, but on the iPad and the iPhone it is super slow to open. ### 2/5 — Nice solution but app is laggy *2019-12-18, version 1.25* The Favro product is very nice and we are in the process of moving from a combo of Trello/Teamworks Projects to Favro. That said, the iPad app is oddly laggy. I’m on the latest iPad Pro and nothing else is like this. The screen has lots of mini lock ups and takes a few seconds to release each time but they collectively add up to a frustrating experience. Luckily logging in to the web version via Safari works well so we have abandoned the app for now but will check back. 5 stars for Favro as a product though.
