Scanned document then required to make purchase, SCAMMMMMMMM, ### 1/5 — Charged $99 even after cancel subscription *2022-08-06* I canceled my free trial for this app on the last day, but they charged me $99 dollars on my credit card. I sent a message and asked them to remove that charge from my credit card because I canceled my the app on the last day of the free trial, yet have not heard from the app company. I shouldn’t have to make this request, for they should NOT have charged me until the end of the day. It appears that this app is a scam since it does not adhere to its own advertised offers and will NOT honor their own “free trial” stated policies. ### 1/5 — I paid $99 for nothing *2022-04-01* I originally paid for the monthly membership, then canceled it and decided to purchase the annual. Once the one month ran out I no longer had the ability to send or receive faxes. I wrote to customer service, they said they fixed it, and I again tried to send my urgent fax and it asks me again to choose a membership. Apparently the premium membership I paid for isn’t good enough. If they actually fix it, I will consider changing this review, but I am of a mind that if you pay for a service, you shouldn’t be asked to pay again once you go to use it. **Developer response:** Dear User, We apologize for this experience. Thank you. ### 1/5 — TERRIBLE QUALITY AND SCAMS UR MONEY *2021-07-10, version 2.25* I needed to fax something important and sensitive quickly. I downloaded this app since it was advertised as free. IT IS NOT FREE. The app charges 99¢ per page so my two images plus cover letter was $3. It also subscribed me to a yearly charge of $99. I had to google how to unsubscribe b/c there is no customer service available. The quality of the images I faxed were so poor that I had to fax them again. I do not recommend this app even if you’re desperate it’s not worth the confusion. ### 1/5 — Be careful, they will charge you $99 *2021-06-22, version 2.25* I didn’t sign up for any yearly subscription or even know it charged me $99 until I happened to go cancel some other subscription. It won’t even let me request a refund because Apple says I have no purchases eligible for a refund, which is weird since I buy things a lot. Even if I had wanted this subscription, I would’ve got the cheapest thing and dang sure wouldn’t have purposefully signed up for a year of it! So basically, I paid a hundred bucks to send a 6 page fax. 😒 ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2021-05-12, version 2.25* The reviews gave this app such credit and it doesn’t work the reviews must’ve been made by the company. To think I was gonna pay a $100 dollar fee for this app just be told that none of my documents were received. Not only thing it gave me a confirmation when one of the fax number were no longer in service. Glad I caught their before paying ### 1/5 — Do not use! Too expensive and not good quality fax *2021-05-09* This is Not a free fax app. It offers a free trial period of 3 days and then an annual subscription of $99. I rarely need to send a fax but couldn’t find an app to send faxes without a subscription. I thought I’d try the free trial so I purchased it. You should get 3 days to try it before getting billed. It immediately charged my credit card as I get notified when a purchase is mad. I canceled my subscription within minutes of starting my free trial. I only sent 1 fax and it was not readable by the recipient so I had to drive somewhere that had a fax machine to use anyway. I only need to fax once or twice a year so if I could find a fax app that would just charge by the fax, that would be what I need. ### 1/5 — OverCharged 3 dimes *2020-12-17* Today is December 17, 2020 I have this app already downloaded and paid for on my Apple ID which translates over to my iPhone 12 pro I was charged three times in one day 999 I’m looking at the charges right now I don’t understand what’s going on but I knew that I need to have credit for three years to my understanding you guys have charged me three times in the last two weeks 999 this is supposed to be a year subscription and if it supposed to be 999 a month then you have charge me three months either way I need resolution someone please contact me again it is December 17, 2020 and the time is now Eastern standard 12:57 PM ### 1/5 — Colossal rip off, do not purchsse *2020-12-11* I have a couple issues with this app. First, there is evidently no way to import a pdf document unless you scan it yourself with your phone or save it as a jpg file and import each page that way. That becomes impractical with large documents, try 45 pages. Second, I mistakenly paid the year subscription ($99) which the free trial defaults to and it looks like that doesn't even include a fax number, available for another $9.99/ month. While it did seem to fax at least one single page document, I will never get my moneys worth out of this application. What a colossal rip off. ### 1/5 — They make canceling complicated *2020-11-02* If your having trouble canceling follow step by step: -Click docs in bottom right corner -Click scan & fax at top center of page -Click on settings (looks like a gear) -Click “cancel number subscription” A box is going to pop up -Click take me there -It will then take you to your active subscriptions on your iPhone go to “ZAP FAX” click on it -It’ll then take you to “edit subscription” - At the very bottom of the page click the bar that says CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION -Confirm cancellation ***Hope this helps because i was panicking trying to figure it out after subscribing to $100 by accident*** My fax DID go through and the person DID receive it. The app itself was actually easy to use. I was going to keep this app but they purposely make it hard to cancel to keep your money. Instead of going through this ridiculous process to cancel they should make it easier. With this App just hold it high enough to capture the whole document and it will adjust and zoom into the document automatically, then input contact fax and send. Save the scanned/faxed documents in the app as .pdf.
